DYNAMIC VIDEO EXCLUSION ZONES FOR PRIVACY
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for preserving privacy in surveillance. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of determining a state of a monitoring system, determining an exclusion zone that is shown in a video, determining whether to obfuscate at least a portion of the video based on the exclusion zone and the state of the monitoring system, and obfuscating at least the portion of the video.
Method and apparatus for image display using privacy masking
The present application discloses a method and an apparatus for displaying an image based on privacy masking, which belong to the field of video monitoring. The method includes: acquiring a to-be-masked original image provided by an image capture terminal and privacy masking area information of the original image; wherein, the privacy masking area information is obtained by identifying the original image or is obtained from the image capture terminal and indicates an area in the original image which is required to be masked; determining whether the original image is required to be privacy-masked based on whether privacy unmasking permission information is stored; if the original image is required to be privacy-masked, performing privacy-masking on the original image based on the privacy masking area information to obtain a masked image, and displaying the masked image. In this way, the image capture terminal is only required to provide an original image without providing the original image and the masked image, so the costs of both storage and transmission are low, saving the storage resources and network resources of the image capture terminal.
Masking in video stream
Methods and devices for combining a mask with a selectively progressing video stream may include receiving a selection of at least one mask with a mask zone that obscures at least a portion of the video stream. The methods and devices may include receiving a selection to emplace the at least one mask at a first location within the video stream. The methods and devices may include receiving a selection to enable a tracking icon to move the at least one mask to a second location within the video stream while the video stream progresses. The methods and devices may include generating a combined output of the video stream and the selective emplacement and movement of the at least one mask during the video stream progression.
Method and electronic device for displaying bullet screens
A method for displaying bullet screens can include: acquiring detection boxes by detecting human-body parts in a plurality of image frames in a target video; and determining a masked region of each of the image frames based on detection boxes in the each of the image frames and a ratio of the detection boxes in the each of the image frames in an image frame to which the detection boxes belong, wherein the client player does not display bullet screens in the masked region when playing the target video.
Controlling a display to provide a user interface
Visual content to be displayed on a display of a user device is received. Obfuscation data for obscuring the visual content is generated and the obscured visual content is displayed on the display. A request to stop obscuring the visual content is transmitted from the user device to a remote device, in response to a drag gesture detected at the user device. As the drag gesture is performed, the obfuscation data is modified to reduce a level of obfuscation applied to the visual content before the request has been accepted, so that the visual content remains obscured but with a lower level of obfuscation. If the request is subsequently accepted at the remote device, the display is controlled to stop obscuring the visual content, thereby rendering the visual content fully visible on the display.
ENHANCING IMAGE DATA FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF DISPLAYS
A method is provided for generating enhanced image data for display on different types of display platforms. The method can include receiving a first format of display image data mastered to be displayed on a first type of display system. The method can include receiving a second format of display image data mastered to be displayed on a second type of display system that is different than the first type of display system. The method can include detecting one or more corresponding pixels in image segments among the first format of display image data and the second format of display image data. The method can include using attributes from the one or more corresponding pixel to generate enhanced image data for display.
Obfuscation of areas of a physical environment depicted in a video
In some implementations, a device may receive, from a camera of a source device, video data depicting a physical environment. The device may detect a target indicator associated with a target zone of the physical environment. The device may determine, based on the target indicator, a zone configuration of the target zone relative to the target indicator. The device may generate, based on a position of the source device, an initial masking content that is associated with a boundary of the target zone that is defined by the zone configuration using a spatial mapping model based on the video data and the target indicator. The device may generate a final masking content using chroma keying based on the initial masking content. The device may generate display data associated with the final masking content and the video data. The device may provide the display data to a destination device.
ENCODING DEVICE AND METHOD, REPRODUCTION DEVICE AND METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to an encoding device, an encoding method, a reproduction device, a reproduction method, and a program enabling each reproduction equipment to reproduce an appropriate content in a simplified manner. A content data decoding unit decodes encoded metadata and outputs zoom area information, which is included in metadata acquired as a result thereof, designating an area to be zoomed. A zoom area selecting unit selects one or a plurality of pieces of zoom area information from among the zoom area information. A video segmenting unit segments a zoom area represented by the selected zoom area information in a video based on video data and outputs zoom video data acquired as a result thereof. An audio converting unit performs an audio converting process according to the selected zoom area information for audio data and outputs zoom audio data acquired as a result thereof. The present technology can be applied to a reproduction device.
Transmission device, transmission method, reception device, and reception method
The feel of brightness intended by a production side is satisfactorily reproduced on a reception side. Transmission video data is acquired by applying a predetermined opto-electrical transfer function to input video data. The transmission video data is transmitted along with region information indicating a region in which a brightness conversion is allowed. A transmission unit for example transmits a video stream acquired by encoding the transmission video data, and the region information is inserted into a layer of the video stream. On the reception side, an electro-optical transfer function corresponding to the predetermined opto-electrical transfer function is applied to the transmission video data, and display video data is acquired by performing brightness conversion processing on the basis of the region information.
