An example includes splitting audience member records into child nodes based on comparisons of first ones of attribute-value pairs of the audience member records to a first threshold, the attribute-value pairs representative of database subscriber activity data of corresponding audience members; in response to a quantity of ones of the audience member records in a first child node not satisfying the minimum leaf size, storing a terminal node value to indicate the first child node as a terminal node associated with one age category; in response to the quantity of the ones of the audience member records in the first child node satisfying the minimum leaf size, storing an intermediate node value to indicate the first child node as an intermediate node; and generating an age-correction model based on terminal nodes to facilitate correcting a database subscriber age characteristic associated with a media impression that is logged by a server.

A television system with a network function is disclosed. The television system includes several client devices and a server device. The several client devices are configured to store and transmit the client information. The client information includes channel information and several positions of the several client devices. The server device is communicatively connected to the several client devices and is configured to receive the client information, to integrate the client information so as to generate integrated information, and to transmit the integrated information to the several client devices. The several client devices are further configured to confirm the several integrated information so as to update the several client information.

Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are provided to facilitate content receiver control for particularized output of content items based on intra-content metrics. Observation data, corresponding to indications of detected content receiver operations associated with a content receiver and mapped to a first set of content items, may be processed. A first set of intra-content metrics may be detected. An audiovisual pattern of intra-content metrics may be mapped based on correlating the set of observation data with the first set of intra-content metrics. A second set of content items may be processed to detect a second set of intra-content metrics. A subset of the second set of content items may be selected based on a visual category and/or an audio category of the audiovisual pattern of intra-content metrics. The subset may be specified to cause a content receiver to modify operations to record and/or output content corresponding to the subset.

A system and method for dynamically training a system to determine an age rating for media content. An exemplary method includes obtaining age rating data for a plurality of territories; determining, based on the age rating data, a similarity vector relating to the target territory; determining, for the similarity vector, a territory associated with a highest prediction score; in response to determining that the territory associated with the highest prediction score is not the source territory, generating a training dataset comprising the age rating data for the target territory, the source territory, and the territory associated with the highest prediction score; and executing a machine learning model, trained by the training dataset, to output an age rating for a content item in the target territory based on an age rating for the content item in the source territory.

Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information are disclosed. An example method includes estimating first and second ages of audience members based on demographic information; estimating a third age of an audience member who is not included in the audience members; applying a window function to the second ages to determine a distribution of ages based on the third age; multiplying window values by the first ages to determine corrected first age components; dividing a total of the corrected first age components by a sum of the window values to determine an estimated age of the audience member at a first time; and determining the corrected age of the audience member at a second time based on the estimated age of the audience member at the first time and a time difference between the first and second times.

Various approaches relate to user defined content filtering in media playing devices of undesirable content represented in stored and real-time content from content providers. For example, video, image, and/or audio data can be analyzed to identify and classify content included in the data using various classification models and object and text recognition approaches. Thereafter, the identification and classification can be used to control presentation and/or access to the content and/or portions of the content. For example, based on the classification, portions of the content can be modified (e.g., replaced, removed, degraded, etc.) using one or more techniques (e.g., media replacement, media removal, media degradation, etc.) and then presented.

Imaging devices may capture images of a user premises. The images may be analyzed and processed by a television receiver to determine a scene associated with the user premises. Information indicative of the scene may be transmitted to a service provider system. A content item is received by the television receiver from the service provider system, where the content item is determined based on the information indicative of the scene.
