APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING AN INSERTION OF MARKERS IN CONTENT

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, applying first data associated with a first content item to a model to generate first classification characteristics, analyzing the first classification characteristics to generate a first marker, wherein the first marker delineates a first location of inventory within the first content item, selecting a first creative to populate a portion of the inventory, and populating, based on the selecting, the portion of the inventory with the first creative. Other embodiments are disclosed.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO ESTIMATE POPULATION REACH FROM DIFFERENT MARGINAL RATING UNIONS

Example methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to estimate population reach for different unions based on marginal ratings. An example apparatus includes memory and processor circuitry to determine a population reach estimate of a union of time intervals for which media ratings data is available, the population reach estimate based on a pseudo universe estimate of a population audience corresponding to the union of the time intervals; determine a pseudo universe estimate of a recorded audience corresponding to the union of the time intervals; determine the pseudo universe estimate of the population audience based on the pseudo universe estimate of the recorded audience; and in response to a decision to update the pseudo universe estimate of the population audience to reduce an error of the population reach estimate output the population reach estimate of the union when the error of the population reach estimate satisfies a threshold.

Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information

Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information are disclosed. An example method includes estimating first and second ages of audience members based on demographic information; estimating a third age of an audience member who is not included in the audience members; applying a window function to the second ages to determine a distribution of ages based on the third age; multiplying window values by the first ages to determine corrected first age components; dividing a total of the corrected first age components by a sum of the window values to determine an estimated age of the audience member at a first time; and determining the corrected age of the audience member at a second time based on the estimated age of the audience member at the first time and a time difference between the first and second times.

Enhanced digital content review

Methods, systems, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for facilitating analyzing media items and to filter inappropriate media items before distribution to the users. In one aspect, a method includes partitioning digital media items such as videos into segments and/or scenes, and classifying the segments into predetermined classes such as “Violence”, “Conversation”, “Street”, “Nudity”, “Animation”. After classifications have been assigned, the segments are clustered and/or grouped together before presenting the segments belonging to a particular cluster to a rating entity in a single user interface, for further evaluation. After evaluation, the segments of the media items that were approved by the rating entity are used to identify media items for which all the segments were approved by the rating entity before distributing the media items to the users.

Systems and Methods for Time-Shifted Prefetching of Predicted Content for Wireless Users

Systems and methods for time-shifted prefetching of predicted content for wireless users. Prefetching video data can include retrieving video data and feature data and generating a video candidate set including selected videos of the related video data. The method can further include determining predicted videos using a machine learning algorithm. The predicted videos can be videos of the video candidate set that are likely to be viewed by a user at a future time. The method can further include prefetching the predicted videos by downloading the predicted videos.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LOG BASED ISSUE PREDICTION USING SVM+RNN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODEL ON CUSTOMER-PREMISES EQUIPMENT

A method, a set-top box, and a non-transitory computer readable medium for log based issue prediction. The method includes receiving, on a processing server, system log files from a customer-premises equipment, the system log files containing events that are logged by an operating system of the customer-premises equipment; parsing, by the processing server, the events of the system log files to processes and mapping the processes to one or more components of the customer-premises equipment; extracting, by the processing server, features from the mapped processes of the one or more components of the customer-premises equipment; classifying, by the processing server, the extracted features with a first machine learning algorithm; and predicting, by the processing server, anomalies in one or more components of the customer-premises equipment with a second machine learning algorithm using the classified features from the first machine learning algorithm.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO IDENTIFY TAXONOMICAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF TARGET CONTENT FOR PROSPECTIVE AUDIENCE
20230396846 · 2023-12-07 ·

Systems and methods to identify taxonomical classifications of target content for prospective audience are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive, via a client computing platform, an audience definition for a prospective audience; identify a set of the users based on the psychological profiles that include similar psychological parameter values as indicated by the audience definition; correlate one or more combinations of content parameter values with the prospective audience based on the interaction information characterizing interactions between the set of the users and the content parameter values that characterize the pieces of content that the set of the users interacted with; identify a set of prospective content, from the pieces of content with taxonomical classifications stored in the electronic storage, for the prospective audience based on the correlated one or more combinations of the content parameter values and the taxonomical classifications of the pieces of content stored in the electronic storage.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR DETERMINING AN INTRODUCTION PORTION IN A VIDEO PROGRAM

Systems, methods, and devices relating to determining an introduction portion in a video program are described herein. A method may determine first and second hard-matching pairs of video segments in first and second video content such that video fingerprints of the first hard-matching pair match and video fingerprints of the second hard-matching pair also match. The method may classify a third pair of video segments in the first and second video content, sequentially between the first and second hard-matching pairs, as a soft-matching pair of video segments of an introduction portion. The method may use the classification of the third pair of video segments as a soft-matching pair to determine a model configured to determine that a pair of video segments in two video content items are a soft-matching pair of video segments of an introduction portion.

CONTENT FILTERING IN MEDIA PLAYING DEVICES
20210329338 · 2021-10-21 · ·

Various approaches relate to user defined content filtering in media playing devices of undesirable content represented in stored and real-time content from content providers. For example, video, image, and/or audio data can be analyzed to identify and classify content included in the data using various classification models and object and text recognition approaches. Thereafter, the identification and classification can be used to control presentation and/or access to the content and/or portions of the content. For example, based on the classification, portions of the content can be modified (e.g., replaced, removed, degraded, etc.) using one or more techniques (e.g., media replacement, media removal, media degradation, etc.) and then presented.
