Caption replacement service system and method for interactive service in video on demand
Provided is a caption replacement service system and method for servicing an interactive advertisement on a video on demand (VOD). A system for making an annotation may include an annotation creator configured to create annotation information on a moving object included in a video and an annotation player configured to play a preview on the annotation information based on a frame unit or a shot unit of the video. The video and the annotation information may be used to provide an interactive advertisement by replacing a caption system of the video with a meaningful annotation.

Multiple streaming camera navigation interface system
A multiple streaming camera interface system includes a data processor and a network interface that establishes a data link to a streaming server. The streaming server is in communication with one or more camera streams generated by corresponding ones of imaging devices capturing footage from specific locations. A streaming client is connectible to the streaming server over the data link. The one or more camera streams are selectively relayed by the streaming server to the streaming client. A graphical interface is executed by the data processor, and a first one of the one or more camera streams, which includes a hotspot to a second one of the one or more camera streams, is displayed on the graphical interface. In response to an activation of the hotspot, the second one of the one or more camera streams is displayed on the graphical interface.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
Despite the massive advances in digital electronics, telecommunications networks, and electronic devices in the past 20 years our engagement with video content is essentially unchanged to that of the first video recorders as it is merely where we access it and upon what we access it that have changed. It is still a passive experience. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide multimedia content that facilitates user engagement and transactions directly through their viewing of the multimedia content in shareable multimedia content elements. Such engagement and transactions may be accessing additional informational content linked to specific elements within the multimedia content or triggering the purchase of an item contained within the multimedia content.
Embodiments of the invention may support monetization, analytics, secondary multimedia content, website functionality and micro-websites.

Generating enhanced advertisements based on user activity
The disclosure includes a system and method selecting advertisements for users based on image capturing patterns across different media. A media application receives a captured image including information about a product from a user, identifying an indexed image matching the captured image including information about the product, retrieving metadata describing the captured image including information about the product responsive to identifying the indexed image, retrieving a user profile stored for the user, identifying an advertisement from a set of advertisements based on the user profile and the metadata describing the captured image including information about the product and providing the user with the advertisement based on the user profile.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VIDEO/MULTIMEDIA RENDERING, COMPOSITION, AND USER-INTERACTIVITY
An interactive video/multimedia application (IVM application) may specify one or more media assets for playback. The IVM application may define the rendering, composition, and interactivity of one or more the assets, such as video. Video multimedia application data (IVMA data may) be used to define the behavior of the IVM application. The IVMA data may be embodied as a standalone file in a text or binary, compressed format. Alternatively, the IVMA data may be embedded within other media content. A video asset used in the IVM application may include embedded, content-aware metadata that is tightly coupled to the asset. The IVM application may reference the content-aware metadata embedded within the asset to define the rendering and composition of application display elements and user-interactivity features. The interactive video/multimedia application (defined by the video and multimedia application data) may be presented to a viewer in a player application.

View-driven consumption of frameless media
This document describes techniques and apparatuses enabling view-driven consumption of frameless media. These techniques and apparatuses provide frameless media and enable a user to engage with the frameless media by orienting a viewing device within the world created by that frameless media. This orienting by the user drives what the user sees in this world and when the user sees it.
