METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CAMERA MOTION BLUR REDUCTION
A method for reducing camera motion blur comprises, before acquiring an image frame for a video stream, a camera measurement unit measuring data related to a camera module motion during a time window; determining camera module motion based on the measured data and predicting a camera motion blur during acquisition of the image frame based at least on the determined camera module motion and the lens projection model; determining whether the predicted camera motion blur exceeds a threshold; in response to determining that the predicted camera motion blur exceeds the threshold, determining a reduction of the provisional exposure time determined to acquire the image frame so that the predicted camera motion blur reaches the threshold, determining whether a corresponding increase in the provisional gain determined to acquire the image frame is below a maximum gain value, adjusting the provisional exposure time and gain, and acquiring the image frame.

The controller registers the electronic devices as the target device, the number of registered electronic devices being equal to or less than a first predetermined number. The controller limits the number of the electronic devices from which the image data is received to a second predetermined number or less, with the second predetermined number being less than the first predetermined number.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR GENERATING WIDE ANGLE IMAGES
The present invention provides a portable device includes a control unit; a first and a second image capturing device coupled to the control unit; a wide angle image generating module coupled to the control unit to activate the first and the second image capturing device, simultaneously for taking a first picture by the first image capturing device and a second picture by the second image capturing device respectively; a stitching module coupled to the control unit to combine the first picture and the second picture to form a wide view angle image; and a display coupled to the control unit for displaying the wide view angle image.
Method and apparatus for implementing a digital graduated filter for an imaging apparatus
A digital graduated filter is implemented in an imaging device by combining multiple images of the subject wherein the combining may include combining different numbers of images for highlights and for shadows of the subject. The imaging device may present a user with a set of pre-defined graduated filter configurations to choose from. A user may also specify the direction of graduation and strength of graduation in a viewfinder. In an alternative implementation, combining may include scaling of pixels being added instead of varying the number of images being combined. In an alternative implementation, the combining of multiple images may include combining a different number of images for highlights of the subject than for shadows of subject.
Apparatus and method for recording a scene for a plurality of lighting setups using only a portion of each cinematic frame
Apparatus for recording a scene using a plurality of lighting setups in rapid sequence to concurrently record a plurality of motion picture clips of the scene, one motion picture clip for each lighting setup, the plurality of clips together exhibiting negligible motion offset. The apparatus includes a plurality of light sources, a controller to define the plurality of lighting setups using the plurality of light sources and to actuate the lighting setups in sequence, a camera to capture a sequence of micro frames showing the scene illuminated by each one of the plurality of lighting setups in sequence during each micro frame, and optionally a processing module to process the sequence of micro frames to generate a motion picture clip of the scene for each of the lighting setups. The duration of the micro frame sequence is short enough to minimize the need for an algorithm for removing motion artifacts.
Image Processing Method, Computer Storage Medium, Apparatus and Terminal
Embodiments relate to the field of image processing technologies, and in particular, to an image processing method and apparatus. In embodiments, when an image is being photographed, an exposure time that is required is first determined, and if the required exposure time is longer than a preset exposure time, the preset exposure time is used to photograph N second images, that is, and a final image is obtained by processing the N second images.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING ELECTRONIC IMAGE STABILIZATION WITH DYNAMIC MARGIN
An electronic image stabilization (EIS) method includes: obtaining video frames derived from an output of an image sensor, wherein each of the video frames has a full field of view (FOV) of the image sensor; obtaining motion information of the video frames; dynamically estimating, by a processing circuit, EIS margins according to FOV variation of a plurality of cropped images within the video frames respectively; and applying stabilization correction to the cropped images according to the motion information and the EIS margins, to generate a plurality of stabilized images.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FRAME CAPTURING AND PROCESSING
Systems and methods are provided that capture and process frames of frame data. An image sensor captures frames of frame data representative of light incident upon the image sensor using a rolling shutter and outputs the frames of frame data. The image sensor captures at least one of the frames over a frame capture interval and then waits over a blanking interval before capturing another frame. A buffer receives and stores the frames output by the image sensor. An image signal processor retrieves the frames from the buffer and processes the frames over successive frame processing intervals to generate a video having a time interval per frame greater than the frame capture interval. At least one of the successive frame processing intervals is greater than the frame capture interval and is less than or equal to a sum of the frame capture interval and the blanking interval.
