A network facsimile apparatus includes a transmission job accepting portion, a gateway data acquiring portion, a geographical correspondence data acquiring portion, a closest region identifying portion, and a FAX transmission requesting portion. The closest region identifying portion identifies closest geographical information from among a plurality of pieces of geographical information in geographical correspondence data corresponding to area codes of a plurality of gateway line numbers. The closest geographical information indicates a region closest to a region indicated by a piece of geographical information that corresponds to an area code of the destination line number set in the FAX transmission data. The FAX transmission requesting portion transmits the FAX transmission data, via the network, to a FAX gateway to which a gateway address corresponding to the closest geographical information has been assigned, and requests a FAX transmission to be performed via the public line based on the FAX transmission data.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium stores instructions which cause, when executed by a processor, a computer to obtaining designated data and designated condition information. The designated data includes the image data and, the designated condition information indicates multiple designated parameters respectively corresponding to multiple items constituting an execution condition for an outputting operation. The instructions cause the computer to transmit parameter request information to a server, receive parameter instruction information including recommendable parameters associated with the group identifying information from the server as a response to the parameter request information, cause the image outputting device to execute the outputting operation using the recommendable parameters included in the parameter instruction information as the parameters for the particular items, and using the designated parameters for the other items.

An information processing system includes at least one information processing apparatus. The system includes a memory and circuitry. The memory stores, for each of a plurality of flows, each flow containing a series of processes executable to electronic data, flow information that defines program identification information identifying one or more programs executing the flow of series of processes and an execution order of the one or more programs, in association with flow identification information. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.

An image processing apparatus includes a controller, a displayer, a communicator, and a near field communicator. The controller receives, from a terminal device, a display image associated with destination information stored by the terminal device, via the near field communicator, displays, on the displayer, a screen including the display image, receives, from the terminal device, the destination information, based on an operation input to the screen, and transmits an image for transmission via the communicator, based on the destination information received from the terminal device.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium stores instructions which cause, when executed by a processor, a computer to obtaining designated data and designated condition information. The designated data includes the image data and, the designated condition information indicates multiple designated parameters respectively corresponding to multiple items constituting an execution condition for an outputting operation. The instructions cause the computer to transmit parameter request information to a server, receive parameter instruction information including recommendable parameters associated with the group identifying information from the server as a response to the parameter request information, cause the image outputting device to execute the outputting operation using the recommendable parameters included in the parameter instruction information as the parameters for the particular items, and using the designated parameters for the other items.

A PC registers in advance PC-assistant copying functions which can be provided by the printer driver for a MFP. The MFP presents, to the user, copying functions including the registered functions. Upon reception of a copy instruction, the MFP determines whether selected functions include a PC-assisted copying function. If the selected functions include a PC-assisted copying function, the MFP transmits, to the PC, scanned image data and a job ticket containing information representing the selected functions. Upon reception of the job ticket, the PC generates a print job for printing the image data on the basis of the job ticket, and transmits the print job to the MFP.
