AUDIO SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS

In one embodiment of an audio system, a transducer can be coupled to a passive acoustic directional amplifier to provide various benefits and improvements, including improvements to: speech intelligibility, signal-to-noise ratio, effective equivalent input noise, at-a-distance acoustic signal reception, and directional preference. In another embodiment, the shape of an interior surface of a passive acoustic directional amplifier is provided. In another embodiment, the material properties of an interior surface of a passive acoustic directional amplifier are provided.

ACOUSTIC OUTPUT APPARATUS

The present disclosure discloses an acoustic output apparatus. The acoustic output apparatus may include an acoustic driver. The acoustic driver may include a diaphragm and a magnetic circuit structure. A front side of the acoustic driver may be formed at a side of the diaphragm away from the magnetic circuit structure. A rear side of the acoustic driver may be formed at a side of the magnetic circuit structure away from the diaphragm. The diaphragm may vibrate to cause the acoustic driver to radiate sound outward from the front side and the rear side of the acoustic driver. The acoustic output apparatus may further include a housing structure configured to carry the acoustic driver. One side of the front side and the rear side of the acoustic driver may form a cavity with the housing structure. The side of the acoustic driver forming the cavity may radiate the sound towards the cavity, and the other side of the acoustic driver may radiate the sound towards outside of the acoustic output apparatus.

Miniature speaker and speaker cabinet and hearing aid

A miniature speaker and speaker cabinet are provided, wherein the speaker is enclosed in an oblong capsule with a sound output opening at one end and leads passing from a speaker coil inside the capsule to connection points externally on the capsule, and where the cabinet encloses the capsule and at one end thereof comprise a lead input opening with leads passing there through to the connection points on the capsule, and where the cabinet further comprise a sound exit opening opposite the lead input opening, which is in fluid communication with the sound output opening of the capsule, wherein the cabinet has an internal space surpassing external measures of the capsule in all directions defining a gap between the capsule and cabinet wherein the thus defined gap is filled out with a hardening silicone.

A microphone assembly includes: a microphone with a first acoustic port, wherein the microphone is configured to convert acoustic waves into an electric signal; a filter housing with a second acoustic port; and a carrier coupled to the microphone and to the filter housing, wherein the carrier and the filter housing together enclose a cavity with a first acoustic passage fluidly connecting the first acoustic port and the second acoustic port; wherein the cavity comprises an acoustic chamber and a second acoustic passage; and wherein the second acoustic passage is in fluid communication with the first acoustic passage and with the acoustic chamber, and wherein the acoustic chamber and the second acoustic passage together establish a Helmholtz resonator for suppressing acoustic energy within a first frequency band in the acoustic waves propagating through the first acoustic passage, wherein the first frequency band is in an ultrasound frequency domain.

ACOUSTIC OUTPUT DEVICE

The present disclosure discloses an acoustic output device. The acoustic output device may include a first acoustic driver including a first diaphragm; a second acoustic driver including a second diaphragm; a control circuit electrically connected with the first acoustic driver and the second acoustic driver respectively, the control circuit provides a first electrical signal for driving a vibration of the first diaphragm, and a second electrical signal for driving a vibration of the second diaphragm, and a phase of the first electrical signal and a phase of the second electrical signal are opposite; and a housing supporting the first acoustic driver and the second acoustic driver, wherein a sound generated by the vibration of the first diaphragm is radiated outward through a first sound guide hole on the housing, and a sound generated by the vibration of the second diaphragm is radiated outward through a second sound guide hole on the housing.
