Method for controlling frequency band for communication and electronic device thereof
An operation method of an electronic device includes determining whether a first communication module based on a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second communication module based on a second RAT operate in a connected state; determining whether a combination of a first band used by the first communication module and a second band used by the second communication module is a combination causing interference; and if the combination of the first band and the second band is a combination causing interference, transmitting a signal requesting to change one of the first band or the second band. The interference is caused by at least one transmission signal of the first RAT or at least one other signal derived from the at least one transmission signal.
Multicast/broadcast service continuity in multi-carrier networks
Embodiments of the present disclosure describe devices, methods, computer-readable media and systems configurations for management and/or support of multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) service in a wireless communications network. An evolved Node B (eNB) may transmit MBMS assistance information to a user equipment (UE). The MBMS assistance information may identify a carrier by which one or more upcoming MBMS services are to be provided and an indicator of a carrier selection mode to be used by the UE. The UE may transmit an MBMS interest indication message including information related to one or more targeted MBMS services which the UE wants to receive.
Method and device for controlling interference
A method for controlling interference includes: dividing a control region in a time domain transmission unit to obtain first and second power regions, the transmission power of the first power region being higher than that of the second power region; dividing all current channels to obtain first and second channel groups; transmitting data carried by all the channels included in the second channel group by means of the first power region, and transmitting data carried by all the channels included in the first channel group by means of the second power region. The method can greatly reduce interference to a PDSCH of a small cell from a PDCCH of a macro base station when the macro base station and the small cell use different parameter sets on the same carrier in a heterogeneous network, without reducing the spectrum utilization rates of the macro base station and the small cell.
POWER CONTROL AND USER MULTIPLEXING FOR HETEROGENEOUS NETWORK COORDINATED MULTIPOINT OPERATIONS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for power control and user multiplexing for coordinated multi-point (CoMP) transmission and reception in heterogeneous networks (HetNet).
REFERENCE SIGNAL ENHANCEMENT IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A wireless communication network wirelessly transmits data signals to wireless communication devices. The wireless communication network wirelessly transmits reference signals to the wireless communication devices at an initial reference signal power level. The wireless communication network determines an amount of the wireless communication devices that wirelessly receive the data signals. The wireless communication network determines a new reference signal power level based on the amount of the wireless communication devices that wirelessly receive the data signals. The wireless communication network wirelessly transmits additional reference signals to the wireless communication devices at the new reference signal power level.
A METHOD FOR REGULATING TRANSMISSION OF A PLURALITY OF INDUSTRIAL DEVICES
A method for regulating transmission of a plurality of industrial devices in a first section of an industrial facility is disclosed. The method includes measuring radio signal strength at a first location in the first section and comparing the measured radio signal strength against a predefined threshold associated with the first location in the first section. The radio signal strength is associated with one or more signals transmitted by at least one industrial device of a first wireless network in the first section. The comparison of the measured radio strength against the predefined threshold is performed for transmitting a message to the industrial device. Based on the message, the at least one industrial device is configured to adjust at least one transmission parameter of the industrial device.
Sidelink transmit power control commands
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a source user equipment (UE) may transmit a first sidelink communication to a target UE. The source UE may receive, based at least in part on transmitting the first sidelink communication to the target UE, a transmit power control command for a second sidelink communication. The source UE may transmit the second sidelink communication using a transmit power determined based at least in part on the transmit power control command. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Allocating reduced transmission power
Aspects are described for use in wireless communications. Nodes may provide wireless access to wireless devices in different coverage areas. The nodes may transmit messages having time interval allocation bitmaps that indicate reduced transmission power time intervals. The reduced transmission power time intervals may be different for different nodes.
Base station and method for optimizing coverage of self-defined network
The disclosure provides a base station and a method for optimizing the coverage of a self-defined network. The method includes: receiving a measurement report from user equipment; in response to determining that the measurement report indicates that a neighboring first base station is present, sending a member tracking message to the first base station; determining whether the first base station belongs to any other base station group based on a member tracking response from the first base station; in response to determining that the first base station does not belong to any other base station group, adding the first base station to a base station group managed by the base station; and in response to determining that the member tracking response indicates that the first base station belongs to another base station group, merging the base station group and the another base station group.
LIMITING TRANSMIT POWER IN DENSE HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS
Dynamically limiting uplink transmit power of wireless devices that are known to be within range of a dense cluster or quantity of access nodes. Wireless devices can report identifiers of nearby access nodes. Responsive to determining a large quantity of identifiers from a wireless device in a specific location, the maximum allowable transmit power of the wireless device (or other wireless devices in the same area) can be reduced. Power can be reduced for HPUEs as well as LPUEs.
