Endovascular occlusion device with hemodynamically enhanced sealing and anchoring
A vascular occlusion device having an expandable frame that carries a membrane. The membrane can include a tubular portion configured to transition between an open configuration in which the tubular portion is configured to receive a guidewire and a closed configuration in which the tubular portion is configured to occlude blood flow.
Occluder devices
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward systems, methods, and apparatuses that include an occlusion device having a barrier member. The barrier member may include an enlargeable portion and a tail portion extending from the enlargeable portion. The enlargeable portion and the tail portion are releasably coupled to the delivery catheter such that the tail portion is radially unsupported and collapsible upon deployment.
Occlusion systems
An occlusion device with particular utility in occlusion of left atrial appendages is described. The occlusion device embodiments utilize an inflatable balloon or expandable element used to occlude the treatment site.
DISSECTION RUPTURE OCCLUSION SYSTEM
A system for occluding a dissection tear includes a stent and at least one occluder and is such configured that the stent and the occluder are separate from each other prior to the delivery of the system to a targeted site and connect to each other after the delivery of the system to the targeted site. The stent and the occluder are separately delivered and released in a diseased blood vessel to significantly reduce the resistance encountered during delivery and release of the stent and the occluder. Moreover, when introducing the occluder into the false lumen, only the profile of the occluder needs to be adjusted, resulting in a lowered surgical difficulty and an improved surgical success rate.
MULTI-ROW DEPLOY ZONE CONSTRAINING DEVICES AND METHODS
A delivery system includes a catheter with a removable constraint. The removable constraint is a knit tubular construct. The removable constraint can be used, for example, to constrain a medical device to a delivery configuration. The removable constraint may include one or more fibers or strands arranged about the device to maintain the device in a constrained or delivery configuration.
Intra-Aneurysm Devices
Devices for occluding an aneurysm are provided. In particular, the device include an upper member that sits against the dome of the aneurysm, a lower member that sits in the neck of the aneurysm, and a means of adjusting the overall dimensions of the device. Also provided are methods of making and using these devices.
Mechanical detachment system for transcatheter devices
Embodiments include, for example, mechanical release systems for implantable medical devices.
System Comprising an Elongated Catheter and an Implant Detachably Attached to a Distal End of the Elongated Catheter
A system includes an elongated catheter including a proximal end configured for operative coupling to an electrical power source, a distal end with a first electrical connector and a first conducting wire, an implant including a tissue energising module and a proximal connecting hub configured to detachably couple with the distal end of the elongated catheter. The proximal connecting hub includes a second electrical connector configured to mate with the first electrical connector and electrically couple the first electrical connector with the tissue energising module through a second conducting wire. A latch system to lock the distal end of the catheter to the proximal connecting hub arm includes an arm attached to the distal end of the catheter that is resiliently deformable such that the arm engages a sidewall of the proximal connecting hub and a locking element that is axially adjustable.
System Comprising an Elongated Catheter and an Implant Detachably Attached to a Distal End of the Elongated Catheter
A system including an elongated catheter and an implant. The elongated catheter includes a proximal end configured for operative coupling to an electrical supply module, a distal end with a first electrical connector and a first conducting wire to electrically couple the electrical supply module with the first electrical connector. The implant includes a proximal connecting hub configured to detachably mount to the distal end of the elongated catheter, a second electrical connector configured to mate with the first electrical connector, and an active module electrically coupled to the second electrical connector. The first electrical connector is rotatably mounted to the distal end of the elongated catheter and the second electrical connector is non-rotatably attached to the proximal connecting hub of the implant and the elongated catheter can detach from the implant without rotation of the first electrical connector relative to the second electrical connector.
MEDICAL INSTRUMENT SET, DELIVERY SYSTEM, AND EMBOLIC DEVICE DELIVERY MEDICAL SYSTEM
To permit placement of an embolic device embolic device at a desired indwelling position in an aneurysm and readjustment of the indwelling position of the embolic device that is already indwelled, a medical instrument set includes an embolic device insertable into a delivery catheter, and configured to, when the embolic device is indwelled in an aneurysm, absorb a liquid in the aneurysm and expand, and an elongated delivery pusher insertable into the delivery catheter and configured to push the embolic device out of the delivery catheter into the aneurysm. The delivery pusher includes an elongated main body and an aspiration lumen that is formed to penetrate to main body in an axial direction from a distal end to a proximal end of the main body and causes the delivery pusher to aspirate and hold the embolic device.
