X-ray radiation detector with automatic exposure control

A radiation detection system comprises a scintillator for converting radiation to visible light; two buttable CMOS wafers; an adjacent acquisition board, for acquiring pixel values; and a processing board for detecting image edge is described. The butt of each adjacent CMOS wafers pair is made such that the total width of two peripheral pixel lines and the spacing between them sums to a whole number of pixel pitch.

Radiation image detecting device and radiation imaging system

A detection panel has a plurality of pixels for accumulating electric charge by receiving X-rays, and a plurality of detection pixels for detecting an X-ray dose in an imaging surface. The detection pixels are disposed periodically with leaving space. A grid, which has X-ray absorbing portions and X-ray transmitting portions alternately and periodically arranged in a first direction, is disposed in a position opposed to the imaging surface. Since an arrangement period of the detection pixels in the first direction is different from an arrangement period of the X-ray absorbing portions, an output value of each detection pixel is distributed and hence the average of the output values has a reduced variation range.

X-ray diagnosis apparatus and dose distribution data generation method

An X-ray diagnosis apparatus detects X-rays output from an X-ray source and transmitted through a subject, and generates images of the inside of the subject, and comprises a detector, an X-ray intensity distribution data generator, and an entrance dose distribution data generator. The detector detects the intensity of the X-rays output from the X-ray source. The X-ray intensity distribution data generator generates X-ray intensity distribution data showing the X-ray intensity for each of a plurality of subdomains of an X-ray irradiation field from the X-ray source based on the detection outcome by the detector. The entrance dose distribution data generator generates entrance dose distribution data showing the dose of X-rays output from the X-ray source and irradiated onto the subject, based on the X-ray intensity distribution data.
