BALLOON OCCLUSION CATHETER FOR RETROGRADE ANGIOGRAPHY
The current invention comprises devices and methods for performance of retrograde angiography, viz, devices and methods of occlusion of a blood vessel and injection of contrast to flow proximal to the direction of blood flow, thereby enabling retrograde clinical angiograms of blood vessels and grafts to be obtained.
Occlusion systems
An occlusion device with particular utility in occlusion of left atrial appendages is described. The occlusion device embodiments utilize an inflatable balloon or expandable element used to occlude the treatment site.
Vascular Flow and Pressure Modulator
Disclosed are vascular flow modulators generally comprised of an expandable scaffold with built-in adjustability to modulate hemodynamic output inside a vessel, for instance, the coronary sinus. Methods of placing and adjusting disclosed flow modulators are also disclosed.
UTERINE MANIPULATOR WITH BALLOON OCCLUDER
A uterine manipulator device includes: an elongated cannulated tube having proximal and distal ends, a cervical cup positioned on the elongated cannulated tube with a top distal portion of a first diameter and a base proximal portion of a second smaller diameter, and a balloon occluder assembly. The balloon occluder assembly can be used independently or positioned proximally from the cervical cup on the elongated cannulated tube.
Aortic occlusion balloon apparatus, system and method of making
The disclosure sets forth various exemplary embodiments of systems, methods, and/or medical apparatuses including but not limited to: a sheath; and a balloon disposed at a working distal end of the sheath. According to one example embodiment the medical device can include where the sheath can include woven wire reinforcing axial and longitudinal strength, side holes, a one direction distal valve, and can include an inflator. According to one example embodiment the medical device can include where the sheath can include a narrow cross-section of, e.g., 7-8 Fr and balloon of length of, e.g., 12 cm.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR INCREASING BLOOD PERFUSION TO A DISTAL EXTREMITY
Devices and methods divert blood flow from a first vessel to a second vessel and maintain blood flow in the first vessel. The device includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is configured to anchor in the first vessel. The first segment includes a window to allow blood to flow into the first segment, through the window, and distal in the first vessel. The second segment is configured to anchor in the second vessel. The second segment is configured to allow blood to flow into the first segment, through the second segment, and into the second vessel.
DEVICE FOR EXERTING A PULLING ON THE TUBING OF A CATHETER FOR HAEMOSTASIS OF THE PROSTATIC CAVITY AFTER SURGERY FOR BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA
A haemostatic device for treating post-operative bleeding of the prostatic cavity, having a body or catheter having a first canal in fluidic communication with a first inflatable balloon formed on the body. The balloon and canal are positionable inside the bladder against the back of the bladder and configured to apply a determined pressure, in the inflated state, on the prostatic cavity to block off and isolate the prostatic cavity, to reduce its volume and to occlude the blood vessels in its cavity wall. The body includes a second canal fluidically connected to a second balloon, extend in the prostatic cavity while conforming to the irregularities of the prostatic cavity. The device has a tensioning tube for easy insertion of the penis in the flaccid state, without compressing the walls of the penis or the glans, having a longitudinal slot extending between two ends of the tensioning tube.
Systems and Methods for Targeted Thrombolytic Delivery
Devices and methods for restoring patency of a catheter. Devices can include an elongate member configured for insertion through the catheter. Elongate members can facilitate delivery of a chemical agent directly to a catheter blockage and/or facilitate agitation of the chemical agent in close proximity to the blockage. A catheter or catheter system disclosed herein includes a device for removing the blockage. The device for removing a blockage from a catheter can include an elongate member configured for insertion through a catheter lumen, the elongate member defining a proximal end and a distal end, and an agitation actuator coupled with the elongate member adjacent the proximal end, wherein operation of the actuator causes agitation of a fluid adjacent the distal end.
PHARYNX ASPIRATION DEVICE FOR MINIMIZING INFECTIOUS PARTICLE EXPOSURE DURING ENDONASAL SURGERIES
A method for minimizing infectious particle exposure during endonasal surgeries includes the steps of: introducing an aspiration device through a mouth of a patient and positioning a distal tip within the nasopharynx space, the aspiration device comprising an elongated balloon catheter having an inflatable balloon located within a distal region thereof and a distal aspiration port that is positioned distal to the balloon; inflating the balloon so that the balloon occupies the nasopharynx space; and aspirating any infectious particles within the nasopharynx space via the distal aspiration port.
DETACHMENT MECHANISM FOR DETACHABLE-TIP ENDOVASCULAR DEVICES
An endovascular device includes a catheter and a detachment mechanism that comprises a shape memory material located at a distal end of the catheter. The device further includes a detachable tip component secured by the detachment mechanism, wherein the detachment mechanism is configured such that application of electricity to the detachment mechanism causes the detachment mechanism to open and release the detachable tip component.
