MULTI-STRUCTURE CONNECTOR INCLUDING SPARK GAP
A connector mounted on a printed circuit board includes a first layer including connector holes having an array structure of two or more columns allowing connector pins to be inserted thereinto, a spark gap between connector hole(s) of the plurality of connector holes and a ground of a printed circuit board, and a conductor line having an end connected to the connector hole(s), the conductor line being arranged between the ground of the printed circuit board and the connector hole(s), and a second layer stacked on a surface of the first layer including connector holes orthogonally spaced from and corresponding to the connector holes of the first layer, and a spark gap between a connector hole, among the plurality of connector holes of the second layer, corresponding to the connector hole(s) of the first layer, and a ground of the printed circuit board.
ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE PROTECTION DEVICE
An electro-static discharge protection device includes a ceramic base material, first and second outer electrodes on the outer surface of the ceramic base material, a hollow portion inside the ceramic base material, a first discharge electrode including a first end portion electrically connected to the first outer electrode and a second end portion in the hollow portion, a second discharge electrode including a first end portion electrically connected to the second outer electrode and a second end portion spaced apart from the first discharge electrode in the hollow portion, and a discharge supporting electrode including silicon carbide and between the second end portion of the first discharge electrode and the second end portion of the second discharge electrode. The elemental alkali metal in the ceramic base material is about 3 percent by weight or less.
Spacing-assured electric field shield for gas discharge tube of motor control
A spacing-assured gas discharge tube assembly is installed on a printed circuit board, which may be part of a motor controller. The discharge tube assembly includes a tube body and an electrostatic spacing shield disposed at least partially around the tube body. The shield is configured to prevent close physical proximity of adjacent structures having electrostatic fields that may alter the breakdown voltage of the tube body.
