MODULAR RACK SYSTEM AND METHOD

A modular rack system and method includes a rack having plural electrical interfaces, and plural module panels configured to mate with the electrical interfaces of the rack. The module panels have one or more of a common exterior size or a common exterior shape. At least two of the module panels have different internal electrical components configured to perform different operations. The rack is configured to be conductively coupled with a power delivery system of a vehicle and the module panels are configured to modify electric current prior to the electric current being supplied to the power delivery system of the vehicle.

ELECTRICAL POWER DELIVERY SYSTEM

An electrical power delivery system includes a module stack, a conductive bus bar, and one or more energy storage devices. The module stack includes multiple modules stacked side by side along a stack axis. Each of the modules has a respective housing and internal electrical components within the housing. The conductive bus bar is oriented along a plane parallel to the stack axis. The bus bar is mounted along a side of the module stack and electrically connected to one or more of the modules. The one or more energy storage devices are electrically connected to the bus bar and extend from a side of the bus bar facing away from the module stack such that the bus bar is disposed between the one or more energy storage devices and the module stack.

The resilient recovery member has a first end connected to the support bracket and a second end connected to the sliding member. The resilient recovery member is to push the sliding member to cause the hook member and the latch member to sandwich the support rail. The sliding member has a first unlocking end for applying a force against the resilient recovery member. The first unlocking end projects beyond the second surface.

Power Phase Module of a Converter, Converter and Vehicle

A power phase module has at least one first DC terminal pair on a face of the power phase module with respective connection elements for connection to a current bar pair. The power phase module further has a first DC capacitor terminal pair on the face being spaced apart from the first DC terminal pair and connected in parallel with it and having respective connection elements for connection to an intermediate circuit capacitor module associated with the power phase module. The power phase module further has a first AC terminal on another side of the power phase module and a switching device connected with the first AC terminal and the first DC terminal pair for converting a direct voltage. The power phase module further has a cooling device to carry heat out of the power phase module. Further proposed are a converter and a rail vehicle with a converter.

The power semiconductor switch is operated with a reverse bias of at least 400 V and at a clock frequency of at least 40 kHz during operation of the electrical converter. The first electronic assembly is mechanically plugged into the assembly carrier by connecting elements, and the first electronic assembly together with the assembly carrier is mechanically plugged and locked by further connecting elements to the housing chassis or to the housing cover using corresponding locking elements on the housing chassis or to the housing cover, respectively.

Integrated mechanical and thermal design for power storage of a traction inverter

A traction inverter system includes a capacitor module, a power module, a cold plate between and in contact with the modules, and an end plate defining an inlet and outlet. The modules and plates define a bore spanning the modules and plates, and a passageway in fluid communication with the inlet and outlet. The traction inverter system also includes a mechanical fastener occupying the bore, spanning the modules and plates, and clamping the modules and plates together.

Disclosed is a modular housing for drivers used for LED lamps. The housing includes connectors for AC in from a power source, DC out to the lamps, and also has connectors allowing for control lines to be received from a control box. The housing includes an arrangement for creating two opposite stacks of drivers. The fronts of the drivers are cooled by circulating air through the space between the stacks, and heat is also dissipated through the side walls of the housing, which acts as a heat sink. The number and specifications of the drivers in the housing are configured such that every module is able to serve a number of LED lamps.
