SHELL STRUCTURE FOR THYRISTOR TRIGGER UNIT

A shell structure for a thyristor trigger unit comprises an integrally-formed shell body with a holder and a cuboid structure, and a side plate. The cuboid structure is a cuboid with an opening in its front where an open face is formed at the front opening of the cuboid. The cuboid further includes a rear panel, a left panel, a right panel, an upper panel, and a lower panel. The holder includes a square retaining plate and two triangular stiffener plates. The square retaining plate is formed by a bottom panel extending towards a side of the left panel in a long side direction of the cuboid while the triangular stiffener plates are fixedly connected between the square retaining plate and the left panel. The side plate is mated with and detachably mounted on the open face to produce a sealed 6-face cuboid structure by sealing off said open face.

Installation structure of high voltage electrical unit on vehicle

A high voltage electrical unit is installed above a floor of a vehicle between left and right seats. A bracket is fixed on the floor between the left and right seats, and the high voltage electrical unit is fixed on a bracket top plate of the bracket. A protect cover for covering the high voltage electrical unit is fixed on the bracket. Strength of the protect cover against a lateral load is made higher than strength of the bracket against the lateral load.

A power die module using a compression connection to a power die in a small package with corona extenders positioned around short efficient path exterior electrical connections. The module is built from a baseplate with connected sidewalls forming an interior compartment holding a power substrate with attached threaded inserts. A printed circuit board bolted to the power substrate with high voltage power die compressively held between the board and the substrate. The compressive hold enhances the electrical connections between the contacts on the top and bottom of the power die and either the power substrate or the printed circuit board. Exterior blade connectors extend upward from the printed circuit board through blade apertures in a lid that covers the interior compartment. The lid includes corona extenders positioned around the blade apertures to allow for high voltage applications while maintaining a small size lightweight package. The sidewall has a perimeter that also includes one or more corona extenders.

CONVERTER VALVE

A converter valve includes a top shielding cover, a bottom shielding cover, at least two vertically stacked valve layers, and a maintenance platform. The top shielding cover is disposed at an upper portion of an uppermost valve layer. The bottom shielding cover is disposed at a lower portion of a lowermost valve layer. Each of the valve layers comprises two valve modules disposed side-by-side in a horizontal direction. The two valve modules are electrically connected via a busbar and mechanically connected via securing connectors. A lower valve layer is connected to an upper valve layer in a suspended manner. A body of the maintenance platform is located between horizontal planes on which two vertically adjacent valve layers are located, or between horizontal planes on which the lowermost valve layer and the bottom shielding cover are located.

Ground system for high voltage semiconductor valve

A high voltage valve arrangement includes a high voltage valve unit; an external electric shield structure arranged at least partially around the high voltage modular valve unit and a grounding system. The grounding system includes a grounding system configured to be remotely extended from a retracted position to an extended position, whereby the extendable grounding device establishes electric connection with the external shield structure when it is extended from the retracted position.

A sub-module is disclosed. A sub-module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a short-circuiting control part. The short-circuiting control part comprises a movable member slidably coupled to a frame on which capacitor assemblies are seated. A variable connector is coupled to the movable member. Moreover, a plurality of short-circuiting blocks are arranged on the frame while being spaced away from each other. When the movable member has slid, the variable connector comes into contact with one or more short-circuiting blocks adjacent to each other to be electrically conductive. The short-circuiting blocks are connected to the capacitor assemblies, respectively, to be electrically conductive. Therefore, a plurality of capacitor elements can be short-circuited simultaneously only by moving the movable member.

Two adjacent metal columns among the plurality of metal columns are connected to each other by a corresponding one of the plurality of second insulators.
