SHUTTER UNIT AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A shutter unit includes a plurality of shutters that are grouped into groups corresponding to one of a plurality of fans, the grouped shutters being arranged beside one another and positioned on a leeward side or a windward side of the corresponding one of the plurality of fans, the grouped shutters being capable of pivoting between an open position and a closed position, the plurality of fans being for sending wind to an inside of an electronic apparatus casing; a coupling member that couples the grouped shutters together so that the grouped shutters are pivotable; and a retaining member that retains the grouped shutters in a state of being in the open position and inclined with respect to a flow direction of returning wind returning from the inside of the electronic apparatus casing toward a side of the plurality of fans.
LATCH ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING A FAN BRAKE ACTUATOR FOR USE IN A COOLING UNIT OF A TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
A latch assembly for a cooling unit of a telecommunications shelf assembly, the latch assembly including: a faceplate; a latch handle movably coupled to the faceplate, wherein, when the latch handle is actuated, the cooling unit is attached to/released from the shelf assembly; and a locking mechanism coupled to the latch handle, wherein, when the locking mechanism is actuated, the cooling unit is locked to/unlocked from the shelf assembly; wherein the locking mechanism includes a fan brake actuator mechanism that is coupled to an electronic fan brake switch associated with one or more fans of the cooling unit. Optionally, the latch handle is pivotably coupled to the faceplate and is actuated by rotation. Optionally, the locking mechanism includes a captive screw that is advanced into/backed out of a threaded aperture associated with the faceplate. Optionally, the fan brake actuator mechanism includes a lever member that couples the locking mechanism to the electronic fan brake switch.
Compact hybrid heat capture system in an information handling system
An information handling system includes a front door having a first frame, a main portion, and a rear portion. The main portion includes a second frame, a component node having multiple components, and a first channel. The rear portion includes a third frame, a cooling coil, a cooling fan, and a second channel. The information handling system is airtight when the first frame is in physical communication with a first end of the second frame and the third frame is in physical communication with a second end of the second frame. An airflow circulates within the information handling system to cool the components in the component node. The airflow circulates from the cooling coil to the cooling fan, through the second channel, through the first channel, through the component node, and back through the cooling coil.
