BACKPLANE CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED SHIELDING EFFECT
A backplane connector includes a housing, a number of terminal modules assembled to the housing, and a metal shield surrounding member. The housing includes a base, a first side wall and a second side wall. The base, the first side wall and the second side wall jointly form a receiving space for at least partially receiving a mating connector. The terminal module includes a first signal terminal, a second signal terminal and an insulating block fixed on the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal. The metal shield surrounding member at least partially surrounds the periphery of the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal. As a result, the shielding effect of the backplane connector is improved.
BACKPLANE CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED SHIELDING EFFECT
A backplane connector includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. Each conductive terminal includes a connection portion and a contact portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield has a first elastic arm and a second elastic arm. The second metal shield has a third elastic arm and a fourth elastic arm. The first elastic arm and the third elastic arm are in contact with two opposite side surfaces of the contact portion of the first ground terminal. The second elastic arm and the fourth elastic arm are in contact with two opposite side surfaces of the contact portion of the second ground terminal. This arrangement increases the grounding shielding area, reduces crosstalk, and improves the quality of signal transmission.
BACKPLANE CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED STRUCTURE STRENGTH
A backplane connector includes a housing and a number of terminal modules assembled to the housing. The housing includes a base, a first side wall and a second side wall. The base, the first side wall and the second side wall jointly form a receiving space. The terminal module includes a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal. The housing includes a number of insulating protrusions integrally extending from the base. The insulating protrusions extend into the receiving space. The terminal modules are assembled in the insulating protrusions. Compared with the prior art, the insulating protrusions of the present disclosure is integrally formed with the base, thereby improving the structural strength of the housing and improving the durability of the backplane connector.
Electrical terminal and electrical connector thereof
An electrical terminal includes a terminal body, at least one interference lug, and at least one circuit connection part. The terminal body includes a front end and a back end in a longitudinal direction. The interference lug is arranged in parallel to the longitudinal direction and extends outwardly in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The at least one circuit connection part is connected to the terminal body. An electrical connector is also provided, and the electrical connector includes a base and the electrical terminal. The base includes at least one installation trough, and a guiding groove is arranged in the at least one installation trough, the at least one interference lug is adapted to slide into the guiding groove, so as to guide and position the electrical terminal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes: an insulating housing; and plural terminals held in the insulating housing and arranged in terminal pairs, each of the terminals including: a holding portion held in the insulating housing; a cantilever extending forward from the holding portion, a slot being provided on the cantilever; a contact portion at a front of the cantilever; and a mounting portion for mounting on a circuit board; wherein the slot extends to the contact portion; and in each terminal pair, a first distance from a center of the contact portion of one terminal thereof to a center of the contact portion of the other terminal thereof is less than a second distance from a center of the mounting portion of one terminal thereof to a center of the mounting portion of the other terminal thereof.
Shielding shell
A shielding shell used to at least partially surround signal terminals includes a first side wall, a second side wall and a third side wall. The second side wall connects the first side wall and the third side wall. The first side wall and the third side wall are disposed face to face. An end of at least one of the first side wall, the second side wall and the third side wall includes a deflection portion bent inwardly. The deflection portion is used to guide insertion of the shielding shell into a mating connector. As a result, a better shielding effect on the signal terminals can be provided. Besides, it is easy to guide insertion of the shielding shell into the mating connector.
SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE WITH GUIDE PIN
A semiconductor guide pin is disclosed. Specific implementations may include a heatsink, one or more substrates coupled together, one or more pressfit pins coupled to the one or more substrates, and two or more guide pins coupled to the one or more substrates, where the two or more guide pins may have a height greater than the one or more pressfit pins.
Thermally efficient connector system
A connector assembly can be provided. A receptacle includes terminals that can be positioned in a card slot on a 0.60 mm pitch (or greater). A biasing element can be provided in the card slot to engage a mating paddle card. The receptacle can be configured to allow air to flow from a front face to a rear face, the air passing through a middle wall. A plug assembly can be provided that includes a conductive body and is configured to generate some amount of heat. The body can include a surface that has cooling grooves. The cooling grooves allow air flow over the plug assembly so that the plug assembly can be cooled directly.
