A fuse in form of breaking fusant by fusing breaking and mechanical breaking includes hollow shell; arc extinguishing medium filled in the shell; at least one piece of fusant arranged in the shell; and conductive terminals provided as penetrating through shell wall and capable to be connected to external circuit, two ends of the fusant are respectively connected with the conductive terminals, at least one breaking device that mechanically breaks the fusant is provided in the shell; driving device arranged outside the shell, after receiving external excitation signal, drives the breaking device to break the fusant in one of linear and rotational displacement modes or their combination; blocking structures are arranged between the breaking device and the shell wall; and the fusant located in the arc extinguishing medium is provided with weak positions where mechanical breaking strength of the fusant is reduced and fusing is easy to be achieved.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITH INTEGRATED FUSING AND ARC SUPPRESSION
A circuit board with integrated fusing includes an insulating substrate having a circuit trace formed on a surface thereof, the circuit trace including a first circuit trace portion and a second circuit trace portion. A fusible link electrically connects the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion, the fusible link including a planar surface extending from the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion. A dielectric reflow encapsulates the fusible link on the planar surface from the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion.

The present invention provides a fuse that has a stable fusing characteristic and is easily manufactured. A fuse 600 includes: a fuse element 100 that is provided between a pair of terminal parts 110 and has a plurality of fuse parts 120; and a casing 200 for housing the fuse parts 120, wherein the fuse element 100 includes a first flat surface 140 and a second flat surface 150 which are shaped bent along a longitudinal direction P of the fuse element 100 and which extend in a linear manner along the longitudinal direction P, wherein the first flat surface 140 and the second flat surface 150 are provided with the plurality of fuse parts 120, and wherein the first flat surface 140 and the second flat surface 150 are contiguous to one other via a bent section 131.

A fuse 600 includes: a fuse element 100 that is provided between a pair of terminal parts 110 and has a plurality of fuse parts 120; and a casing 200 for housing the fuse parts 120, wherein the fuse element 100 includes a first flat surface 140 and a second flat surface 150 which are shaped bent along a longitudinal direction P of the fuse element 100 and which extend in a linear manner along the longitudinal direction P, wherein the first flat surface 140 and the second flat surface 150 are provided with the plurality of fuse parts 120, and wherein the first flat surface 140 and the second flat surface 150 are contiguous to one other via a bent section 131.
Fuse resistor and method for manufacturing the same
A fuse resistor includes a substrate, an insulation layer, a fuse element, a protection layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The insulation layer covers a surface of the substrate. The fuse element is disposed on a portion of the insulation layer. The fuse element includes a first electrode portion, a melting portion, and a second electrode portion, in which the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion are respectively connected to two opposite ends of the melting portion. The protection layer covers the fuse element and the insulation layer, in which the protection layer has a cavity located on the melting portion. The first electrode is electrically connected to the first electrode portion. The second electrode is electrically connected to the second electrode portion.
Protection device with laser trimmed fusible element
Provided are trimmed parallel element protection devices. Some protection devices may include a substrate and first and second terminals at opposite ends of the substrate. The protection devices may further include a first fusible and a second fusible element extending between the first and second terminals, wherein at least one of the first and second fusible elements includes a trimmed portion.
Airtight surface mount fuse with insert cavity
An airtight surface mount fuse with a cavity has a housing, a conductive fuse, a cover and an encapsulant. The housing has an opening and an airtight inner space. The fusible element has a part disposed inside of the airtight inner space and another part exposed from the opening. The cover is configured to fit into the opening. The encapsulant encapsulates the housing, the cover and a segment of the exposing part of the fusible element. The other segment of the fusible element is exposed from the encapsulant. The inner space of the housing is encapsulated by the encapsulant and becomes airtight. The fusible element is disposed inside of the airtight inner space to prevent the hazard occurring from arc spark interacting with flammable gases when a fusible body of the fusible element is fused. It also ensures the fusible body is affected by the external environment.
