Safety-Blade Dispenser and Related Methods
Safety-blade dispensers for safely storing surgical blades prior to surgery and optionally for retrieving used surgical blades after surgery. In either case, the safety-blade dispenser is configured to store one or more surgical blades in an orientation that allows a user to simply and safely attach a surgical tool handle to the surgical blades (and optionally remove the handle from the surgical blades) without requiring the user to physically touch or manipulate the surgical blades by hand. The safety-blade dispensers disclosed herein may be used alone or in conjunction with a system and method of preventing wrong-site surgery.

DERMAPLANING DEVICE AND RELATED SYSTEM
A dermaplaning device and related system are disclosed. The dermaplaning device may include a longitudinally-extending handle having a first end defining a longitudinally-extending recess and an opposing second end. The dermaplaning device may further include a blade assembly having a top side engageable with the recess of the handle and an opposing bottom side including a blade with a cutting edge. The dermaplaning device may further include a lighting arrangement provided about the first end of the handle to illuminate at least a portion of the blade assembly engaged with the recess.

In some aspects, a package mostly impermeable to bacteria including the first and second protective containers is also completely or partially filled with an inert or non-inert gas.

Scalpel blade loader
A blade loader is provided herein. The blade loader includes a housing defining a cavity and an insertion opening at one end portion of the cavity. The cavity is configured to accept a blade therein. The housing includes first and second sections. First and second sidewalls extend from the respective first and second sections. The first sidewall is disposed outside the second sidewall. A support extends from the housing and into the cavity configured to interact with an aperture defined by the blade. A rib structure extends into the cavity and defines a channel and a press portion. The press portion is configured to contact a portion of the blade.
Scalpel blade loader
A blade loader is provided herein. The blade loader includes a housing defining a cavity and an insertion opening at one end portion of the cavity. The cavity is configured to accept a blade therein. The housing includes first and second sections. First and second sidewalls extend from the respective first and second sections. The first sidewall is disposed outside the second sidewall. A support extends from the housing and into the cavity configured to interact with an aperture defined by the blade. A rib structure extends into the cavity and defines a channel and a press portion. The press portion is configured to contact a portion of the blade.
Apparatus and method to stop bleeding
A hemostatic device is provided to stop bleeding at a puncture site on the wrist of a patient, the device comprising a transparent flexible band to be wrapped at the site where the bleeding is to be stopped, a curved frame having an inner peripheral side and possessing a first curved portion in its first half and a second curved portion in its second half, a first balloon provided on the inner peripheral side in the first half of the curved frame and a second balloon provided on the inner peripheral side in the second half of the curved frame. The bleeding from a first artery is stopped by compressing the first artery at the puncture site using inflation of the first balloon and the blood flow in the first artery is increased by compression of a second artery using inflation of the second balloon.
