LINE-SHAPED PAW-TYPE PATELLA EXTERNAL FIXATOR
The present invention provides two types of a line-shaped paw-type patella external fixator, comprising A type: two ends of a line-shaped main girder are respectively provided with pressure regulating fixing parts, an arc auxiliary girder is arranged below the line-shaped main girder, and two ends of the arc auxiliary girder are respectively provided with one auxiliary fastener and fixing needles; B type: one end of B type is the same with that of the A type, a b-shaped fixing part is provided below a q-shaped fixing part on the other end, a fixing needle is provided below the b-shaped fixing part, an auxiliary fastener is provided in the middle of the line-shaped main girder, and a splayed needle seat and an auxiliary fixing needle are arranged on both sides. The fixator has advantages of easy installation, wide adjustment range and minimal damage.
Mandibular repositioning via bone anchoring devices
A mandibular repositioning apparatus may include anchoring devices shaped for positioning in an intraoral cavity of a patient. Each of the anchoring devices may be configured to be positioned in a respective bone of a respective jaw of the patients. The mandibular repositioning apparatus may include one or more connecting structures configured to displace a lower jaw in an anterior-posterior direction relative to an upper jaw. The one or more connecting structures and the anchoring devices may be configured to be arranged to produce an anterior-posterior force component to move the lower jaw that is greater than a vertical force component.
External fixing device, for treating bone fractures
An external fixing device for the treatment of bone fractures includes a first member, a second member, a central body arranged between the first member and the second member, a first ball joint for the articulated connection of the first member with the central body, a second ball joint for the articulated connection of the second member with the central body, locking means operatively associated to the first ball joint and with the second ball joint, respectively, the locking means being suitable for allowing/preventing the articulation of the first member and second member with respect to the central body, wherein the first member includes a first clamp, the second member includes a second clamp and the central body includes a third clamp for connection of the external fixing device to respective fractured bone portions to be treated.
MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT AND RETRACTION VIA BONE ANCHORING DEVICES
Systems, methods, devices and apparatus for mandibular advancement or retraction via bone anchoring devices are described herein. In various aspects, an apparatus for treating a patient via mandibular advancement or retraction comprises a plurality of anchoring devices positioned in the patient's intraoral cavity. Each of the plurality of anchoring devices can be positioned in bone of the patient's upper jaw or bone of the patient's lower jaw. One or more connecting structures can be removably coupled to and extend between the plurality of anchoring devices in order to displace the lower jaw anteriorly or posteriorly relative to the upper jaw.
Y-frame external bone fixator
In an embodiment of the invention, a fixator for fixating bone fractures includes a Y-frame having superior, anterior and posterior arms. The arms may be slotted and may accept mounting hardware for supporting fixation pins or transfixion pins. Various components of mounting hardware may be able to be adjusted either in discrete steps or in continuous manner, for various degrees of either translation or rotation. The Y-frame may be rigid, or may have joints that allow either angulation or arm-twisting adjustment. Arms may be provided joinable interchangeably to a hub. A kit of such parts may be provided.
REPOSITION AND PENETRATION FORCEPS AND EXTERNAL FIXATOR FOR FRACTURES OF LONG BONES
Reposition and penetration forceps for fractures of long bones, in particular traumatic fractures of tibia in centre line, that comprise two jaws forming a three-point system in opposition, wherein the first movable jaw (1) comprises two threaded pins (7) with tips (21) and the second firm jaw (2) comprises one threaded pin (7) with a tip (21). An external fixator for fractures of long bones, in particular traumatic fractures of tibia in centre line, which comprises at least two sets of forceps, wherein the sets of forceps are arranged identically or in a mirror image to each other.
