Fracture fixation systems
Systems for bone fracture repair are disclosed. One system includes a biocompatible putty that may be packed about a bone fracture to provide full loadbearing capabilities within days. The disclosed putties create an osteoconductive scaffold for bone regeneration and degrade over time to harmless resorbable byproducts. Fixation devices for contacting an endosteal wall of an intramedullary (IM) canal of a fractured bone are also disclosed. One such fixation device includes a woven elongated structure fabricated from resorbable polymer filaments. The woven elongated structure has resilient properties that allow the woven structure to be radially compressed and delivered to the IM canal using an insertion tube. When the insertion tube is removed, the woven structure expands towards its relaxed cross-sectional width to engage the endosteal wall. The woven elongated structure is impregnated with a resorbable polymer resin that cures in situ, or in the IM canal.
INTERNAL FIBULA SLING
Syndesmotic fixation devices, systems, instruments, and methods thereof. An implant for stabilizing an ankle joint between a tibia and a fibula may include first and second anchors secured to the tibia and a suture configured to wrap around the fibula. The suture may be tensioned to provide a circumferential force around the fibula to stabilize the joint.
Femoral lesser trochanter securing device for firmly securing the lesser trochanter and the surrounds and stably strengthening the same so as to allow artificial hip replacement surgery
Provided are a lesser trochanter securing device and an artificial joint device. The device includes a basket portion which covers a lesser trochanter, and a buttress plating portion which is joined to a lower edge of the basket portion, extends toward a femoral shaft and is secured and joined to the femoral shaft.

Bone fracture fixation clamp
A bone fixation clamp includes a first arcuate clamp member conforming to a shape of a bone and extending between a first connection end and a first free end, a second arcuate clamp member conforming to a shape of the bone, a second connection end of the second clamp member being pivotally attached to the first clamp member, the second clamp member extending between the second connection end and a second free end and a driving member received in the first clamp member passing out of the first clamp member to abut an abutment portion of the second member so that, as the driving member is extended further out of the first member, the driving member pivots the second clamp member relative to the first clamp member to draw the first and second free ends toward one another to apply a radially compressive force to the bone.

ADJUSTABLE IMPLANT FOR FIXING FEMUR
Provided is an adjustable implant for fixing a femur, the adjustable implant allowing a wire wound around a fractured femur to be accurately placed at a desired location even when the desired location is changed depending on a patient. The adjustable implant includes: a body (100) provided with first locking holes (110) vertically penetrating therethrough at predetermined intervals; a head (200) extending from an upper end of the body (100), and being bent to be in a hook shape for being hooked over a greater trochanter of a femur; and a detachable wire locking part (300) detachably mounted to the body (100) or to the head (200), and supporting a wire (400), wherein the detachable wire locking part (300) includes: base parts (310); and a wire locking member (320) having a coupling member (321) so as to be detachably coupled to each of the base parts (310).

Mobile prosthesis for interpositional location between bone joint articular surfaces and method of use
A biocompatible prosthetic device comprising a thin low friction spacer for location to overlie a bone member in an interpositional location between opposed bone joint articular surfaces. The prosthesis is preferably a thin spacer with at least one low friction surface, the spacer being adapted for location about a bone member in an interpositional location between opposed bone joint articular surfaces preferably about a margin of articular cartilage of a bone member's condyle, preferably without any modification of the articular surface of the condyle. One preferred use of a prosthesis is in a human temporomandibular joint as a thin cap-like member fitted closely over the mandibular condyle to be disposed intermediate of the mandibular condyle and the mandibular fossa of the temporomandibular joint.
LOAD DISTRIBUTOR FOR A STERNUM CLOSURE DEVICE AND TOOL FOR CUTTING THE LOAD DISTRIBUTOR
A load distributor for a sternum closure device comprises a wire receiving section configured to be attached to a wire of the sternum closure device, and a load distributing section. A tool for cutting the load distributor comprises a pair of jaws movable between a load distributor receiving position and a cutting position, wherein at least one of the jaws has substantially V-shaped cutting edges tapered towards the other jaw in an angle to the longitudinal extension of the tool.
