RATCHET BELT SYSTEM AND RELATED ACCESSORIES
A ratchet belt system comprises a belt having a notch strip extending along a portion of the length thereof. The notch strip is formed of a plurality of adjacent notches, each being configured to engage a ratcheting tab of an associated buckle. In an embodiment, the tab is coupled to a release lever that is oriented toward a receptacle portion of the buckle for ergonomically improving the release mechanics. In another embodiment the belt comprises a first notch strip about a first surface of the belt and a second notch strip about a second surface of the belt opposite of the first surface. Other improvements include accessories configured to engage with the ratchet belt system for display and storage thereof.

EXTREMITY TOURNIQUET WITH LOCKING BUCKLE
A tourniquet for application to a patient's limb in an emergency situation, and a method for its application. The tourniquet includes a tension-sensing mechanism used to establish a baseline tension in a loop around an injured limb, and a tension-increasing mechanism to reduce the circumference of the loop and tighten the tourniquet as required beyond the baseline tension. The tension-sensing mechanism may be incorporated in a buckle in which when sufficient tension is developed in the loop a pin protrudes to engage and maintain tension in a strap member which is part of the loop. A latch may be incorporated in the buckle to keep it in a condition in which the pin protrudes to engage the strap and maintain the baseline tension. A release tab operable to release the latch is located where it is protected against inadvertent operation.

BELT BUCKLE WITH INTEGRATED TOOL
The present application includes embodiments for a belt adjustment system. The belt adjustment system can be configured to engage a belt comprising a plurality of belt teeth. The belt engagement system can include a buckle portion that includes a belt clamp configured to couple the belt to the buckle, a lever pivotally movable between a first position and a second position, and a belt-engaging tab, the tooth-engaging tab positionable between a tooth-engaging position and a tooth-disengaging position responsive to the position of the lever on. The belt adjustment system can include a tool housing having a first wall and a second wall that form a slot. A tool comprising a distal end and a proximal end can be coupled to the tool housing, the tool positionable within the slot between a closed position and an open position.
