Buckle
A buckle for tightening or loosening a band, including: a buckle body having a pair of hinge holes; a plate spring arranged in the buckle body with a leading part positioned in a sliding path of the band, the leading part being shaped to slope with a leading end contacting a back side of the band so as to be caught by a catch projection of the band; and a buckle switch having a pivot pressure piece with hinge projections, and an operation lever connected to a pivot pressure piece so as to be exposed to one side of the buckle body. The leading end of the plate spring is separated from the band so as to make the band slide in a loosening direction when the plate spring is pressed by the pivot pressure piece.
Buckle component
Buckle component (1) having a belt receiving opening (2) and a frame (3) enclosing the belt receiving opening (2), and a bar (4) about which the belt (5) is guidable, wherein the bar (4) is fastened to the frame (3), in a manner crossing, in particular completely crossing, the belt receiving opening (2), by at least one fastening device (6, 7) of the buckle component (1). The bar (4) is fastened to the frame by plastic deformation of the bar (4) and/or of at least one of the fastening devices (6, 7) and/or of the frame (3).

Releasable connecting device
A device for reversibly connecting together a first element and a second element designed to be alternately connected and disconnected includes a male element, inserted into a female element to move from a mutually disengaged state to a mutually engaged state, and a slider, for actuation/release of the engaged state, which is slidingly engaged by the male element into the female element. The relative movement of the actuation/release slider and the male element is transferred to first releasable locking members of the male element, which cooperate with corresponding second locking members of the female element to move from a stable locked state to a stable unlocked state of the male element by a movement of the slider in the direction of insertion. Furthermore, the male element includes a handle having the slider at least partially and slidingly housed therein.
VARIABLE-SHAPE CONNECTION DEVICE FOR STRAPS, OBJECTS, PORTIONS OF GARMENTS AND ACCESSORIES
The present invention relates to a device for connecting straps, objects or portions of garments and accessories forming a quick-snap buckle. The device according to the invention comprises, in accordance with a first feature, two strictly identical and complementary parts, such that said parts may be combined to thus form a single assembly. To achieve said assembly, said parts have a main body provided with two or three parallel lobes (2-5) that are flat and curved portions that fit into one another, wherein said lobes have circular movable members that bend in order to lock the device, for the male portion of said members, and circular movable members that bend and are equivalent to push buttons (6) to release the device, for the female portion of said members. The architecture and the mode of connection of the parts make it possible to assemble not just two parts, but also three, four, five parts or more, and simultaneously make it possible to work with special functionalities or specific strap shapes.
Adjustable connectors for use with webbing of patient harness systems and other types of safety belt systems
Adjustable connectors disclosed herein are adapted to connect webbing to a buckle. The webbing can be, e.g., a urethane coated webbing, some other type of coated webbing, or a non-coated webbing. The adjustable connector includes a baseplate, a tongue at a front end of the baseplate, a webbing aperture within the baseplate, first and second walls extending perpendicularly from the baseplate, and first and second slots respectively within the first and second walls. In certain embodiments, the slots are tapered. In certain embodiments, the adjustable connector includes a rotatable lock bar including a central portion having an outer surface and first and second tabs. In certain embodiments, each of the tabs has a cross-section with a major-axis that is greater than a minor-axis that is orthogonal to the major-axis. In certain embodiments, a front edge of the webbing aperture comprises an arced front edge.
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for ensuring worker safety
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for ensuring safety of a worker are disclosed. The system includes a first fastener configured to secure two or more ends of a harness around the user, a first sensor unit attached to the first fastener, the first sensor unit configured to generate a first signal when the first fastener is in a locked position, a tether attached to a portion of the harness, the tether configured to tether the user to a stationary or movable object, and a second fastener attached to one end of the tether, the second fastener configured to secure the one end of the tether to the stationary or movable object, a second sensor unit attached to the second fastener, the second sensor unit configured to generate a second signal when the second fastener is in a locked position, and a controller unit wirelessly connected to the first sensor unit and the second sensor unit, the controller unit configured to generate a third signal when the first or the second signal is not received by the controller unit within a predetermined period of time.
Closure apparatus
A closure includes a male closure member including a first loop, an arm fixedly attached to the loop, and a bar fixedly attached to the arm, the bar having an upper portion extending orthogonally from the arm in a first direction and a lower portion extending orthogonally from the arm in a second direction opposite the first direction, the bar, the arm and the first loop lying substantially in a plane, and a female closure member including a second loop and a base portion fixedly attached to the second loop, the base portion having a top edge and a bottom edge and a trough extending from the bottom edge to the top edge into which the bar of the male closure member is insertable at the bottom edge and moveable along and configured for rotational pivoting of the bar in the trough, the base portion including a trough housing for receiving the upper portion of the bar inserted in the trough, the base portion having a recess configured to receive the arm attached to the bar inserted in the trough and positioned such that the upper portion of the bar is received by the trough housing, and the upper portion of the bar and the lower portion of the bar are disposed between the top edge and the bottom edge, the base portion including a pin biased to extend into the recess and configured to removably secure the arm in the recess.
