An insulation stripping tool can be used to precisely remove a section of insulation located away from the edges of an insulated wire. The insulation stripping tool includes two transverse cutting elements which can be spaced a predefined and precise distance apart, and upper and lower longitudinally-extending cutting elements extending between the transverse cutting elements. Hinged lever arms can be gripped to move the cutting elements towards one another and cut into the insulation sheathing an insulated wire. A depth guide may be included to control the depth of the insulation cut to minimize or avoid scoring or otherwise affecting the conductive core of the insulated wire.

HAND TOOL STRUCTURE

A hand tool structure has two plier bodies pivoted by a pivot member, and a knob mechanism for controlling opening and closing of the two plier bodies. Opposing sides of the two plier bodies each include a V-shaped groove to form a square clamping hole when the two plier bodies are closed; a row of teeth; a first cutting portion for cutting an electric wire or cable; a second cutting portion for cutting a metal wire; a wavy peeling portion having curved sections, wherein when the two plier bodies are closed, the curved sections form receiving holes with different diameters. The two plier bodies have first and second cutting holes for cutting screws. The first cutting hole includes a large diameter section and a small diameter section. The second cutting hole is greater than the large diameter section, and its extending direction is inclined relative to the first cutting hole.

Cable stripping tool

A cable stripping tool according to one embodiment is a cable stripping tool that strips a sheath of a cable. The cable stripping tool includes a blade protruding from an inner surface of a hole into which the cable is to be inserted. The sheath of the cable inserted into the hole is cut by the blade when the cable is pulled out from the hole along an extending direction of the cable. A cross-sectional shape of the hole is a non-circular shape in a plane orthogonal to the extending direction. The hole includes a space portion that a deformed portion of the cable inserted into the hole enters.

Landscape lighting pocket tool

A landscape lighting pocket tool having a set of foldable retractable tool bits for working on an article to enable on the go and on the spot adjusting or repairing an article or a system as well as one or more tool bits that may an angle adjustable level for determining a level condition of an article, a drywall saw blade that allows the handle of the foldable pocket tool to be used as a handle of the drywall saw blade and a set of bevel cutting edges in the jaws of the foldable pocket tool to allow a person to both cut and strip insulation from a variety of different wire sizes wire without damaging the wire.

ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER

A screwdriver having a cable-stripping structure has a grip provided with a combining portion having a first cable-stripping groove, and has a pressing plate combined with the combining portion and having a second cable-stripping groove positionally corresponding to the first cable-stripping groove. The screwdriver further has two knives each respectively installed in a first slit of the first cable-stripping groove and a second slit of the second cable-stripping groove and each having a cable-stripping blade aligned with a corresponding first cable-stripping groove or second cable-stripping groove, so that the pressing plate is allowed to move in a travel-limited manner along a screw-driving shaft inserted in the grip. The combining portion further has a fixing hole, while the pressing plate further has a holding hole corresponding in position to the fixing hole. Thereby the cable-stripping structure facilitates stripping and bending electric wires of different diameters.

Clamping plier

A clamping plier is disclosed, including a first and a second plier bodies. The first and the second plier bodies are connected together through a shaft, an elastic member is provided on the shaft. The first plier body includes a first handle and a first jaw and the second plier body includes a second handle and a second jaw. The first jaw is provided with a first clamping head and a first cable stripping head, and the second jaw is provided with a second clamping head and a second cable stripping head. The first crimping head and the second crimping head cooperate to form a terminal crimping position, the first and the second cable stripping heads cooperate to form a cable cutting and stripping position. The elastic member is connected between the first and the second crimping heads or between the first and the second cable stripping heads.

Cable preparation tool and methods therefor

A tool for preparing a cable for connectorization. The tool has a portion for stripping a cable jacket and another portion for cutting fibrous strength elements, such as aramid strength elements, relative to the exposed fiber. The strength element cutting portion includes a blade enclosed in a cover that also serves as a handle for the tool. The cover also has a stop edge to ensure that a desired excess length of the strength element remains after cutting the strength element. The excess strength element length can then be used to connectorize the cable.
