DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNATTENDED TREATMENT OF A PATIENT
An unattended approach can increase the reproducibility and safety of the treatment as the chance of over/under treating of a certain area is significantly decreased. On the other hand, unattended treatment of uneven or rugged areas can be challenging in terms of maintaining proper distance or contact with the treated tissue, mostly on areas which tend to differ from patient to patient (e.g. facial area). Delivering energy via a system of active elements embedded in a flexible pad adhesively attached to the skin offers a possible solution. The unattended approach may include delivery of multiple energies to enhance a visual appearance.

Cosmetic treatment for reducing body size
A cosmetic treatment for reducing body size, incorporating a cosmetic minimally-invasive procedure (CMIP) and incorporating cold atmospheric plasma irradiation (CAP) of a body, the treatment comprising the five steps of: a first step of preparing a cosmetic composition and applying the composition to the body to form a mask on the body; a second step of using a gypsum plaster of Paris (POP) and sealing the mask; a third step of wrapping the POP with a nylon/plastic wrap; a fourth step of preparing the body with a layer of aqueous surface gel; and a fifth step of using CAP irradiation of the body; whereby the body is an abdominal region, and the body size is indicated by at least three representative body circumference measurements; and whereby body size reduction is statistically significant when comparing before and after cosmetic treatment body sizes.
Systems and Methods for Aesthetic Treatment
Provided herein is a multifunctional aesthetic system including a housing, an electromagnetic array situated in the housing and having one or more electromagnetic radiation (EMR) sources, a controller in electronic communication with the array to operate the one or more of the EMR sources to direct the EMR beam to a treatment area, and one or more sensors in electronic communication with the controller for providing feedback to the controller based on defined parameters to allow the controller to adjust at least one operating condition of the multifunctional system in response to the feedback.
AESTHETIC METHOD OF BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURE TREATMENT BY MAGNETIC FIELD
Systems and methods for treating a body region are provided herein. A treatment device for treating a body region is provided, and may include a first applicator and a second applicator. The first and second applicators are held on the body region by a belt. The first applicator may include a first magnetic field generating device and a radiofrequency electrode. The second applicator may include a second magnetic field generating device. The first and second magnetic field generating devices may each generate a time-vary magnetic field with a plurality of sequential magnetic impulses to cause muscle contraction in the body region. The radiofrequency electrode may provide radiofrequency waves causing heating of tissue within the body region. The treatment device may further include an energy storage device and a switching device. The switching device my discharge energy from the energy storage device to the first or the second magnetic field generating device to generate the time-vary magnetic field.
LAPAROSCOPIC-BASED METHOD OF SAFELY REMOVING VISCERAL FAT TISSUE DEPOSITS FROM WITHIN THE MESENTERIC REGION OF A HUMAN PATIENT SUFFERING FROM METABOLIC SYNDROME
A laparoscopic-based method of safely removing visceral fat tissue deposits from within a human patient suffering from metabolic syndrome. Laparoscopy portals are formed through small incisions in a human patient's body, and an inert gas is infused into the abdominal region of the human patient to cause abdominal distension. A laparoscope is inserted into the abdominal region of the human patient so that a surgeon can capture video images of the abdominal region of the patient, and display the captured video images within the view of the surgeon. A powered fat tissue aspiration instrument is inserted into the mesenteric region of the human patient, wherein the powered fat tissue aspiration instrument has an instrument housing and a cannula assembly mounted with respect to the instrument housing. The laparoscope is used to capture video images of the mesenteric region of the human patient, and display the video images to provide laparoscopic guidance to the surgeon while safely aspirating visceral fat tissue from the mesenteric region of the human patient to ameliorate the metabolic syndrome of the human patient on an ambulatory basis.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR DELIVERY OF ELECTROLYSIS PRODUCTS
Example apparatuses and systems are disclosed for providing controlled delivery of electrolysis products to a site which may be used for treatment of infection and ablation of undesirable cells and tissue. A system disclosed may include a power supply, two electrodes, an aqueous matrix that may close the electric circuit between the electrodes at the treated site, and a controller. The controller may control the electrical circuit to induce a direct current through the electrodes and an aqueous matrix to produce electrolysis products. The duration and magnitude of the charge applied may determine the dose of the products applied to the treatment site. The composition of the electrodes and the aqueous matrix may be chosen to produce desired products. An apparatus is disclosed that may be in the form of a pad for applying to a wound. An apparatus is disclosed that may be used for treating internal tissue.
ULTRASONIC MEDICAL INSTRUMENT HAVING VARIABLE FOCUSING DEPTH OF ULTRASONIC WAVE GENERATING UNIT
Embodiments of the inventive concept provide an ultrasonic medical instrument moving horizontally by adjusting a depth wise location of an ultrasonic wave generating unit while not influencing an internal volume of a cartridge and variously setting focusing depths of ultrasonic waves in skin.
Pixel array medical systems, devices and methods
Systems, instruments, and methods for minimally invasive procedures including one or more of fractional resection, fractional lipectomy, fractional skin grafting, and/or fractional scar revision are described. Embodiments include instrumentation comprising a scalpet assembly coupled to a carrier, and the scalpet assembly includes a scalpet array. The scalpet array includes one or more scalpets configured for fractional resection, fractional lipectomy, fractional skin grafting, and/or fractional scar revision. The system includes a vacuum component coupled to the scalpet assembly and configured to evacuate tissue from the a site. The carrier is configured to control application of a rotational force and/or a vacuum force to the scalpet assembly.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE TREATMENT OF CELLULITE WITH THE COMBINATION OF LOW LEVEL LIGHT, ULTRASOUND, AND VACUUM
A method and device is taught to improve the appearance of cellulite by combining mild exfoliation of the skin, various wavelengths of low level light, ultrasound, and a vacuum or suction. The device is intended to increase the metabolic rate of the fat cells and reduce their size, while increasing the extensibility or length of the septae. Such increased activity will promote blood flow to the affected area thereby increasing cell nutrients and removing cellular exudates while stimulating the growth of new collagen thereby alleviating the cellulite.
