An orthopedic device includes a frame, a strap system including first and second straps connecting to the frame, and an adjustment mechanism couples to the first and second straps and simultaneously regulates tension in the first and second straps by moving the first and second straps relative to the frame. The strap system includes a length adjustment system for modifying the length of the strap.

Embodiments of universal adapter system including a receiver component having base portion configured to be coupled to a base belt worn by an individual and a locking mechanism which is operative to be engaged to a mounting bar of an adapter component that is secured to a dynamic load carriage apparatus, wherein the mounting bar is capable of a sliding action that compensates for a shift in load that is associated with the individual are disclosed. In operation, the receiver component may be engaged and disengaged from the adapter component while being worn by the individual using a single-handed operation.

A yoke device for a horse having a neck, a back, a barrel, a dock, a withers, a chest, a mane, at least one shoulder, a point of said at least one shoulder, a forearm, and at least one scapula is disclosed. The yoke device comprises a material having a “Y” shape, a belly end, a withers end, and a main body portion. The withers end comprises a pair of elongate strips splaying outwardly from a central point disposed within the main body portion and forming a neck opening therebetween. The pair of elongate strips circumscribe the neck of the horse when the elongate strips are disposed about the neck of the horse. The main body portion overlaps the chest of the horse when the main body portion of the yoke device is disposed in overlapping engagement with the chest of the horse.

To provide a fixing structure for side belt fasteners in which positions of fasteners at end portions of side belts are easy to find by touch, so that operations of attaching and detaching the fasteners are facilitated. In a fixing structure for side belt fasteners, side belt fasteners (eye tape 4 and hook tape 5) of a brassiere with a hook fitting and an eye fitting sewn on tape-shaped interlinings are attached between a front fabric 10a and a back fabric 10b of the brassiere 10 via adhesive layers. A printable hook and loop engaging structure is configured to create a temporary bind as one half of a hook and loop connection with another half of the hook and loop connection. The printable structure includes a substrate and a print-receptive topcoat coupled to the substrate. The substrate includes a fastening surface that is one of a hook fastening surface and a loop fastening surface of the hook and loop connection. The print-receptive topcoat is opposite from the fastening surface of the substrate.

A hook device makes it easy to return a hook from a raised state to a stored state. This hook device has a holding member and a hook member, the holding member has an integrally formed elastic piece, the hook member has a rotating shaft and a hanger, the outer periphery of the rotating shaft is provided with an arcuately formed rotating surface and a holding surface formed so as to be close to the rotating shaft center, and the elastic piece abuts against the rotating surface of the rotating shaft in a flexural state when the hook member is raised, and abuts against the holding surface of the rotating shaft when the hook member is stored.

The attachment apparatus may include a length of material and at least one attachment point arranged on an end of the length of material. The at least one attachment point may include at least one magnetic feature configured to attach and detach the device and the length of material. The material can include but is not limited to cloth, metallic (magnetic and non-magnetic), fibrous material, and so forth.

A system for carrying or using a device includes the device and at least one attachment apparatus. The device may include at least one attachment element. The attachment apparatus may include a length of material and at least one attachment point arranged on an end of the length of material. The at least one attachment point may include at least one magnetic feature configured to attach and detach the device and the length of material. The material can include but is not limited to cloth, metallic (magnetic and non-magnetic), fibrous material, and so forth.

Disclosed is an ornament including male-shaped ornaments which are attached to one surface of a desired portion, respectively; and a unit plate to fix the respective male-shaped ornaments to the other surface of the desired portion, so that the desired portion is freely flexible. A side of the male-shaped ornament is provided with a fitting protrusion which passes through the desired portion to fix the male-shaped ornament to the unit plate, and the unit plate is provided with an engaging hole into which the fitting protrusion is fitted. A member for an accessory includes: a base portion that is connected to a part of an accessory; and a movable portion that is supported to be capable of turning relative to the base portion, and that opens and closes the clasp member for accessory by the turning. The clasp member is separably coupled to a coupling subject portion. A base-side coupling portion of the base portion is arranged on one side in a longitudinal direction of the base portion, the one side being opposite to another side on which a connecting part of the base portion is arranged, the connecting part being connected to the part of the accessory.
