Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a dynamic codebook subset restriction (CBSR) configuration that indicates time-variant CBSR information associated with a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) or synchronization signal block (SSB) resource selection codebook, or with a joint CSI-RS resource and CSI-RS port selection codebook. The UE may transmit, to the base station, channel state information (CSI) feedback that indicates the CSI-RS or SSB resource selection codebook or the joint CSI-RS resource and CSI-RS port selection codebook based at least in part on the dynamic CBSR configuration indicating the time-variant CBSR information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Information sending method, information receiving method, and related device

Embodiments of this application provide an information sending method, an information receiving method, and a related device. In the information sending method, a network device sends first signaling that carries first indication information, and the network device further sends second signaling that carries second indication information. The first indication information indicates a subset identifier corresponding to a first precoding subset in a first codebook. The first codebook includes a plurality of precoding subsets. Each precoding subset includes a plurality of precoding matrices, and different precoding subsets correspond to different subset identifiers. The second indication information indicates a matrix identifier corresponding to a first precoding matrix in the first precoding subset. Precoding matrices in the first precoding subset correspond to different matrix identifiers, and the first precoding matrix is used to precode a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) carried on a first subband.

Aspects described herein relate to receiving a configuration indicating a first codebook subset restriction table restricting a set of precoding matrix indicators (PMIs) for which PMI feedback is to be reported for an antenna array, generating, based on the configuration, PMI feedback for an adaptive configuration of the antenna array based on a second codebook subset restriction table for the adaptive configuration of the antenna array, and transmitting the PMI feedback to the base station. Other aspects relate to transmitting the configuration and/or receiving the PMI feedback.

Method for determining full-power transmission codebook subset and device

In a method, a terminal device reports, to a network device, a full-power transmission codebook subset corresponding to a frequency band supported by the terminal device before transmission channel switching. The network device or the terminal device in a communications system may determine, according to a specified rule and full-power transmission codebook subsets corresponding to a plurality of source frequency bands, a full-power transmission codebook subset corresponding to a target frequency band after transmission channel switching. The plurality of source frequency bands are frequency bands in which a plurality of target antenna ports are located before antenna port switching, and the plurality of target antenna ports are antenna ports in the target frequency band after antenna port switching.

Codebook subset restriction signaling

A network node signals to a wireless communication device which precoders in a codebook are restricted from being used. The network node in this regard generates codebook subset restriction signaling that, for each of one or more groups of precoders, jointly restricts the precoders in the group by restricting a certain component (e.g., a certain beam precoder) that the precoders in the group have in common. This signaling may be for instance rank-agnostic signaling that jointly restricts the precoders in a group without regard to the precoders' transmission rank. Regardless, the network node sends the generated signaling to the wireless communication device.

Coherent Joint Transmission Channel State Information Codebooks for Multi-Transmission-Reception-Point Operation

Devices and methods for providing channel state information reporting for multi-transmission-reception-point coherent joint transmission in a wireless communication system. Channel state information configuration information is provided by a base station to a wireless device. The channel state information configuration information indicates one or more restrictions for the UE in reporting a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for each of multiple transmission reception points. The wireless device provides a PMI to the base station based on the channel state information configuration information.
