Mitigation of transmission errors of quantized channel state information feedback in multi antenna systems
Methods are disclosed for improving communications on feedback transmission channels, in which there is a possibility of bit errors. The basic solutions to counter those errors are: proper design of the CSI vector quantizer indexing (i.e., the bit representation of centroid indices) in order to minimize impact of index errors, use of error detection techniques to expurgate the erroneous indices and use of other methods to recover correct indices.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING INTERFERENCE IN RADIO CARRIER BAND
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for detecting interference in radio carrier band. A method performed at a network node may comprise: receiving, from a terminal device, a first report about channel state of a first frequency range, and a second report about channel state of a second frequency range; and determining whether the terminal device is interfered in any of the first frequency range or the second frequency range, based on a comparison between the channel state of the first frequency range and the channel state of the second frequency range. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the deterioration of channel state in a frequency range caused by interference may be shown and recognized via the comparison result.
Duplexing modes based on power configurations for transmissions
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify a set of power configurations for a plurality of communications with at least one target device. The set of power configurations may be based at least in part on a type of signal, a type of channel, a parameter of the wireless device, a parameter of the target device, or a combination thereof. The wireless device may then determine a duplexing mode for the plurality of communications based at least in part on the set of power configurations. The duplexing mode may be, for example, a full duplex mode or a half-duplex mode. The wireless device may then transmit the plurality of communications to and/or receive the plurality of communications from the at least one target device according to the set of power configurations and the selected duplexing mode.
Method and arrangement in a wireless communications system
A method for assisting the adaptation of a signal from a first node to a second node is provided. The first node communicates with the second node in a wireless communication system over a radio link. The second node has a codebook comprising a set of possible information alternatives for assisting the adaptation of a signal received from the first node. The second node may select an information alternative from the codebook and send it to the first node to assist the first node in adapting the signal. The first node is configured with a number of subsets, each comprising a part of the possible information alternatives. The first node requests that the second node restrict the selection of information alternatives to one of the subsets, and in response, receives an information alternative from the second node that is selected from among the subsets configured according to the configuration request.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING CHANNEL MEASUREMENT AND BEAM MANAGEMENT
Presented are systems and methods for channel measurement and beam management. A wireless communication device may receive a configuration from a wireless communication node, the configuration including at least one channel measurement reference signal (RS) resource (CMR). The wireless communication device may perform, according to the configuration, measurement of the at least one CMR. The wireless communication device may send a report to the wireless communication node. The report may include at least one of: a CMR index, or a channel quality.
Triggered measurement reporting for wireless communications
A method is performed by a wireless device in a network. The wireless device detects a triggering event related to a procedure for a handover from a source network node to a target network node in which the wireless device relies on downlink beam selection. The wireless device determines measurement information to include in a message to send to the target network node. The measurement information is obtained by measuring one or more beams according to at least one of a radio link management configuration, a beam management configuration, and a measurement configuration. In response to detecting the triggering event, the determined measurement information in the message is sent to the target network node.
User equipment and method for activating PUCCH spatial relation
A user equipment and a method for activating a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) spatial relation are provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) including a first field and a second field, the first field indicating an identifier (ID) of a specific PUCCH spatial relation to be activated or deactivated, the second field indicating an ID of a specific PUCCH resource; applying the MAC CE to all PUCCH resources in a specific PUCCH group that includes the specific PUCCH resource in a case that the MAC CE is identified by a first LCID; and applying the MAC CE to the specific PUCCH resource in a case that the MAC CE is identified by a second LCID.
Method for transmitting/receiving signal in wireless communication system, and device supporting same
Disclosed in various embodiments are a method for transmitting/receiving a signal in a wireless communication system, and a device supporting same. More particularly, disclosed in various embodiments are a method for transmitting/receiving a synchronization signal block (SSB) in an unlicensed band, and a device supporting same.
PHASE PRE-COMPENSATION FOR MISALIGNMENT
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device may transmit, from a first antenna of a first antenna array of the first device to a second antenna of a second antenna array of a second device, a first set of reference signals. The first device may transmit, from a first plurality of antennas of the first antenna array to a second plurality of antennas of the second antenna array, a second plurality of reference signals. The first device may receive, from the second device, an indication based at least in part on a linear offset and one or more rotational offsets estimated by the second device associated with the first set of reference signals and the second plurality of reference signals. The first device may communicate with the second device using the first antenna array based on the indication.
Allocation of bandwidth among communication links in distributed antenna system
The present disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods for allocating bandwidth among communication links in a telecommunication system. Some aspects can involve identifying multiple transmission modes used to transmit downlink signals via remote units of a telecommunications system to groups of terminal devices. Each group of terminal devices may receive downlink signals using a respective transmission mode. Respective weights can be assigned to the groups of terminal devices based on the transmission modes. The downlink signals, which are provided to each remote unit associate with each group of terminal devices, can be configured using a respective signal power that is associated with a respective weight for the group of terminal devices associated with the respective remote unit.
