Cyclic delay and doppler shift

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may apply at least one of an amount of delay or an amount of Doppler shift to a signal transmission including a first signal for transmission from a first antenna and a second signal for transmission from a second antenna, wherein the second signal is shifted, relative to the first signal, in a delay-Doppler domain, by the at least one of the amount of delay or the amount of Doppler shift. The transmitter may output, in a time-frequency domain, the first signal from the first antenna and the second signal from a second antenna. Numerous other aspects are described.

SRS transmission delay shift reporting

A method of sending sounding reference signals includes: reporting delay shift information from a user equipment to a network entity, the delay shift information indicative of a second sounding reference signal having a delay shift relative to a first sounding reference signal; sending the first sounding reference signal from a first antenna of a plurality of antennas of the user equipment to the network entity; and sending the second sounding reference signal from a second antenna of the plurality of antennas of the user equipment to the network entity with the delay shift relative to the first sounding reference signal.

Enabling reliable millimeter-wave links using multi-beam, pro-active tracking, and phased arrays designs

A method, a system, and a computer program product for enabling reliable millimeter links in wireless communications systems. One or more beams associated with a plurality of communication paths is trained to determine one or more angles corresponding to the beams at which the beams are received by at least one of a first communication device and a second communication device. Using the determined one or more angles, at least one communication path in the plurality of communication paths is selected for transmission of one or more data packets between the first and second communication devices. Using the selected communication path, one or more data packets are transmitted.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling allocating one or more uplink resources. The UE may transmit an indication of one or more cyclic delay values in accordance with receiving the control signaling, where each cyclic delay value of the one or more cyclic delay values may correspond to a delay between one or more instances of a signal, where each instance of the signal may be transmitted via a respective antenna at the UE. The UE may transmit one or more uplink signals in accordance with the one or more cyclic delay values, in accordance with the control signaling, or both.

CONTROL CHANNEL CYCLIC DELAY DIVERSITY SCHEME

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may indicate a range of values for a cyclic delay diversity (CDD) parameter associated with a channel to a UE. The UE may select a CDD value from the range of values based on one or more measurements, a configuration, or both, associated with the channel. The network entity may apply a cyclic to the channel according to a CDD value from the range of values, and may transmit, according to the applied cyclic delay, signaling to the UE via the channel. In some cases, the UE may receive the second control signaling according to the CDD value selected by the UE. The network entity may indicate the range of values via one or more techniques, and the range of values may be associated with a set of channel conditions, control resources, or both.
