A method for setting up a mobile backhaul link, performed by a hub in a mobile backhaul system, may comprise: calculating a separation distance between the hub and a mobile backhaul terminal using GPS position information; selecting a beam width and a beam search scheme of at least one beam to be used for setting up the mobile backhaul link according to the separation distance; transmitting ID(s) of the at least one beam to the mobile backhaul terminal through the at least one beam having the beam width according to the beam search scheme; receiving the ID(s) of the at least one beam and a measurement result of the at least one beam from the mobile backhaul terminal; and selecting a first beam having a largest signal strength according to the measurement result, wherein the first beam is used for setting up the mobile backhaul link.

The electronic device comprises: a processing circuit, configured to acquire a channel state information (CSI) resource configuration and a CSI report configuration from a base station, the CSI report configuration being associated with one or more CSI resource configurations, the CSI resource configuration comprising a resource configuration for a reference signal on one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs), and to send, on the basis of the CSI report configuration, to the base station a measurement result, obtained by measuring a reference signal specified in the associated CSI resource configuration, of a beam corresponding to the reference signal.

A method by which a terminal transmits channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the disclosure, can comprise the steps of: receiving, from a base station, CSI related configuration information including a first CSI report configuration and a second CSI report configuration; calculating a channel quality indicator (CQI) on the basis of the assumption that a first channel measurement resource (CMR) related to the first CSI report configuration is an IMR and that a first interference measurement resource (IMR) related to the first CSI report configuration is a CMR; and reporting, to the base station, first CSI including the first interference-based CQI.

System and methods for wirelessly transporting data from a first communication node to a second communication node using different combinations of beams and on a packet-by-packet basis. Packets associated with a certain Quality of Service (QoS) and/or latency requirements are transported between the first and the second nodes using a first transmission path, while packets associated with a different QoS/latency requirements, are transported between the first and the second nodes using another transmission path, in which in order to switch from the first path to the second path, the system adjusts appropriate beam directions in real-time, and so as to result in fast-switching beam configurations that dynamically change in accordance to packet movement in the network. Latency-critical packets are directed to the faster path, while other packets are directed to the slower path, so as to prevent network congestion and optimize overall network performance.
