The feedback report of the at least one beam comprises at least one of UE identifier (ID), beam ID, beam strength, and beam validity. The first UE (104-1) updates entries of a beam management table based on the feedback report.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a first device may calculate hybrid beamforming parameters for a second device. The first device may calculate the hybrid beamforming parameters based on an estimation of channel information associated with at least a portion of a communication link at the second device via a machine learning model. Inputs to the machine learning model may include measured model parameters based on measurements performed by one or more other devices. The first device may transmit a message to the second device to indicate the hybrid beamforming parameters, which may include an input for a beam refinement process. The second device may perform the beam refinement process based on the hybrid beamforming parameters to identify one or more beams. The first and second devices may communicate using the one or more beams based on the beam refinement process.

Systems and methods for beamforming

Systems and methods for beamforming include a device including at least one of a head wearable display (HWD) or a console. The device establishes a first connection between an active HWD radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) and an active console RFIC. The device compares a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the first connection to an MCS threshold. The device performs MCS measurements for a second connection of at least one of an idle HWD RFIC or an idle console RFIC, while the first connection is maintained, in response to the MCS not satisfying the MCS threshold. The device compares the MCS measurements of the second connection to the MCS threshold. The device switches to the second connection when at least one of the one or more MCS measurements satisfies the MCS threshold and/or above the MCS of the first connection.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a network node indicating a reference signal (RS) configuration for RS measurements. The RS configuration may indicate a first set of beams, a first periodicity for measuring RSs on the first set of beams, a second set of beams, and a second periodicity for measuring RSs on the second set of beams. The UE may monitor a wireless channel for a first set of RSs communicated via the first set of beams according to the first periodicity and monitor the wireless channel for a second set of RSs communicated via the second set of beams according to the second periodicity. The UE and the network node may dynamically update one or more of the beam sets, periodicities, or both, to perform RS measurements.

Synchronizing Communication in a Backhaul Network

A backhaul system operative to: increase network capacity, prevent unwanted re-transmissions, and facilitate multiple hopes. The system utilizes a first sequence and a second sequence of periods in conjunction with wireless packet transmission by several adjacent nodes, thereby (i) preventing a transmission of a downlink packet to a mid-point communication node from interfering with reception of any previous downlink packet in a node adjacent to the mid-point node, (ii) preventing a transmission of an uplink packet to the mid-point node from interfering with reception of any previous uplink packet in yet another node that is also adjacent to the mid-point node, and (iii) preventing transmissions of packets by the mid-point node from interfering with reception of any other packet in the mid-point node. Multiple beams are then used to counter a residual effect of multiple transmissions arriving in the mid-point node at the same time.
