Snap-hook with dual-direction loop spring latch
A snap-hook comprising: a hook-shaped body having a throat opening and a shank end, wherein the hook-shaped body includes a primary aperture located at the shank end suitable for attaching a primary line and a secondary aperture located approximately opposite the throat opening suitable for attaching a secondary line; and a dual-direction latch pivotally attached to the hook-shaped body such that the dual-direction latch spans the throat opening when in a neutral position and is capable of pivoting into and out of the throat of the hook-shaped body, wherein the dual-direction latch comprises a bent wire having two free ends, each end inserted in a different hole of two holes in the hook-shaped body that are non-axially-aligned resulting in a spring force that biases the dual-direction latch toward the neutral position and resists pivotal movement of the dual-direction latch both into and out of the throat.
Carabiner with Fire Starting Implement
The invention relates to a novel carabiner that can create sparks or a sustained flame in order to ignite material during outdoor activities. The carabiner has utility as a connecting device as well as its ability to ignite materials. The carabiner can contain a fold out utility blade which may be used to cut materials the user intends to ignite. The fire starting capability may be conducted with one hand which is a clear benefit to any user.
Pet buckle
A pet buckle includes a hook-shaped buckle body, and a lock rod openable with respect thereto; the buckle body having an end portion and a front end, with an opening formed those two; the lock rod including a first end hinged to the buckle body through a first rotation shaft, and a second end locked with the front end, a middle part thereof sheathed by a torsional spring, to enclose the opening of the buckle body; the end portion including a first and a second anti-trip clips, with the first one fixed to both ends of the first rotation shaft; the second clip fixed to both ends of the second rotation shaft; a stepped portion and an anti-trip portion engaged with each other formed on the inside of the two clips respectively. With the clips, the lock rod cannot rotate to open the pet buckle occasionally, thereby improving the reliability.

LEASH WITH VARIABLE ANCHOR
A leash-with-variable-anchor has two opposing fastener structures, one for removable attachment to a collar or to a harness; and another for fastening back onto a portion of an elongate-member of the leash, forming a looped structure, an anchor. The anchor may function as a handle. The anchor may also be quickly, easily, and safely attached to various articles, such as, but not limited to, posts; and without a need of detaching from the collar or from the harness. In some embodiments, the loop structure of the anchor may be variable (i.e., adjustable) in size.
Interlocking zipper pull tabs and fastening system
A fastening system for a zipper is disclosed which includes locking or interlocking first and second zipper pull tabs. A first zipper pull tab comprises a first base, a hook extending from the first base, and a moveable gate coupled to the first base. A second zipper pull tab comprises a second base, a cover coupled to the second base, and a post extending between the second base and the cover. For interlocking, the moveable gate and hook are further coupled around the post to provide the interlocking configuration of the first and second zipper pull tabs. The first zipper pull tab may be utilized separately from the second zipper pull tab, such as to lock to a coupling ring or another component of a carrying bag.

Apparatus for Coupling a Pet Leash and Pet Collar
An apparatus that couples an animal leash and animal collar to form a harness assembly. The apparatus is placed on the back of an animal and contains two separate channels configured to hold and maintain a flat leash in a loop encircling the animal's torso. The elongate and narrow shape of the channels prevents the contained leash from turning or becoming tangled in the around the animal. The apparatus is detachable into two separate components to allow the loop to be removable from the animal. The apparatus also contains a snap bolt connecter for attaching the collar.

SNAP HOOK WITH SPRING
A snap hook with spring may include a main body having a first generally curved shape section and a second generally straight shape section. The generally curved section may include a hole, and the generally straight section may include a cavity. The snap hook with spring may also include a sliding pin and a spring acting on said sliding pin. The snap hook with spring may also be characterized in that a slide formed in the main body may have various geometrical shapes leading to a path, where the path includes sections that may be linear, rotational, curved, angular, or any combination thereof. The sliding pin may include a lever that runs the path of the slide and the path of the slide determines the type of movement of the sliding pin, in such a way that the path of the slide is never limited to a single direction.
