Presented are systems and methods for indicating whether a scheduled data transmission is a retransmission or a new transmission. A wireless communication device may receive a downlink control indicator (DCI) including a first indicator from a wireless communication node. The wireless communication node may transmit the DCI including the first indicator to a wireless communication device. The first indicator can be indicative of whether a scheduled data transmission is a retransmission.

Disclosed are methods and systems for a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) receiver to reduce the number of retransmission of packets needed to receive an error free packet so as to improve channel throughput. Techniques to reduce the number of retransmissions include a combination of processing of the header of the received packets to increase the number of corrupted packets available for reconstructing the original payload and bit error correction (BEC) of the payload of the corrupted packets. Header processing may include making available for payload reconstruction a packet whose received access address differs by no more than 1-bit from an assigned address of the receiver provided at least one of the corrupted packets used in the reconstruction contains an error-free access address. Header processing may also include using a prior error-free decoded length of the packet to aid in the determination of the length field of a current packet.

Redundancy version identification in cross-carrier repetition

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a first redundancy version (RV) pattern for a first semi-persistent transmission associated with a data transmission on a first component carrier and a second RV pattern for a second semi-persistent transmission associated with a repetition of the data transmission on a second component carrier. The UE may receive or transmit the data transmission and the repetition of the data transmission based at least in part on the configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Methods, systems and apparatus for scheduling of subframes and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback

Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive first uplink (UL)-downlink (DL) configuration information indicating a first UL-DL configuration, and may receive second UL-DL configuration information indicating a second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may receive a physical downlink shared control channel (PDSCH) transmission in a DL direction of one or more first symbols in a first subframe. The DL direction of the one or more first symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may transmit first acknowledgement (ACK)/negative ACK (NACK) information in a UL direction of one or more second symbols in the first subframe. The first ACK/NACK information may be based on the PDSCH transmission. The UL direction of the one or more second symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration.

This application discloses an adaptive transmission method for satellite communication. First, a receive end determines a redundancy version index; second, the receive end feeds back a redundancy version index signal to a transmit end; then, the transmit end receives the redundancy version index fed back by the receive end, and performs operations such as demodulation and decoding on the redundancy version index signal, to obtain the redundancy version index; and then, the transmit end obtains a corresponding redundancy version combination based on the obtained redundancy version index; and finally, the transmit end selects a proper diversity mode for transmission based on the obtained redundancy version combination.

The apparatus receives a first PDU and a first CRC that is based on the first PDU. The first PDU is encrypted based on a first nonce. The apparatus decrypts the first PDU to obtain a first payload and a first cipher stream. The apparatus soft combines the decrypted first payload with a decrypted set of payloads. The set of payloads have been encrypted based on at least one nonce different than the first nonce. The apparatus generates a second CRC based on the soft combined decrypted payloads and based on the first cipher stream. The apparatus determines whether the generated second CRC for the soft combined decrypted payloads passes a CRC check against the first CRC.
