Method and mobile terminal for performing random access
A random access channel (RACH) procedure includes a mobile terminal receiving from a network a message that indicates a RACH preamble for the mobile terminal. The terminal transmits the RACH preamble to the network and then receives a RACH response from the network. The terminal monitors a downlink channel according to a discontinuous reception (DRX) active time for radio resource allocation information for a data transmission by the terminal. The DRX active time specifies a time until the radio resource allocation information for the data transmission is indicated.

Base station apparatus, terminal apparatus, and communication method for these apparatuses
A base station apparatus receives an uplink shared channel and a reference signal, the uplink shared channel including uplink data, an identifier of a terminal apparatus that has transmitted the uplink data, a first CRC generated from the identifier bits, and a second CRC generated from the uplink data bits. In a case that an error is detected based on the first CRC, the base station apparatus transmits a first NACK by using a control signal associated with the reference signal sequence. In a case that an error is detected based on the second CRC, the base station apparatus transmits a second NACK by using a control signal associated with the identifier indicating the terminal apparatus.

The method includes: receiving downlink data and decoding the received downlink data by the UE; when the decoding is not successful, starting a timer for receiving retransmitted data; when the downlink data has been received by a configured downlink assignment, operating a downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, in an active time; and when the downlink data has been received by a dynamic transmission resource and the downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, is different from a downlink carrier, through which a scheduling command for the downlink data has been received, operating the downlink carrier, through which the scheduling command for the downlink data has been received, and the downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, in an active time.
Methods and devices for receipt status reporting
A method of receipt status reporting in a communication device (110), comprising configuring (S1) said communication device for periodic receipt status reporting by associating a first status report type with a value of a first reporting periodicity parameter and associating a second status report type with a value of second reporting periodicity parameter, said first status report type being different from said second status report type and said first reporting periodicity parameter being different from said second reporting periodicity parameter, and periodically (S2) sending receipt status reports of said first type according to said associated value of said first reporting periodicity parameter and receipt status reports of said second type according to said associated value of said second reporting periodicity parameter.
Data transmission method, terminal device, and network device
Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a first indication sent by a network device; receiving, by the terminal device, downlink data based on the first indication, and generating feedback information of the downlink data; receiving, by the terminal device, a second indication sent by the network device, where the second indication indicates a start location of an uplink time unit; determining, by the terminal device based on the first indication and the second indication, a resource location for sending the feedback information; and sending, by the terminal device, the feedback information at the resource location.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIGURING SIDELINK DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and device are disclosed from the perspective of a second User Equipment (UE) to configure Sidelink (SL) Discontinuous Reception (DRX). In one embodiment, the method includes the second UE initiating or initializing a sidelink service with a first UE. The method also includes the second UE determining a SL DRX configuration based on association between sidelink service and SL DRX configuration, wherein the SL DRX configuration is associated with the sidelink service. The method further includes the second UE monitoring sidelink control channel based on the SL DRX configuration.
DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION IN A NETWORK
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an offset associated with a propagation delay in a network, wherein hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback is enabled at the UE, and may monitor for a retransmission of a downlink communication in the network according to the offset. In some aspects, a UE may start a timer associated with monitoring for a retransmission of a downlink communication in a network, wherein HARQ feedback is disabled at the UE, and may monitoring for the retransmission of the downlink communication after starting the timer or after expiration of the timer. Numerous other aspects are provided.

HANDLING MISSED HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST (HARQ) OPPORTUNITIES, MULTIPLE HARQ OPPORTUNITIES, OR BOTH FOR DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION (DRX)
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for handling hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes with discontinuous reception (DRX) operations. A user equipment (UE) may use timers to maintain an ON duration in DRX. The UE may receive, via downlink control information (DCI), an indication of a feedback transmission opportunity (TxOP) for a HARQ process. The UE may activate a timer at the end of the TxOP regardless of whether the UE transmits feedback in the TxOP to ensure that the UE remains active. In some implementations, a base station may provide the UE with multiple opportunities to transmit a feedback message. The UE may reactivate a timer after each feedback TxOP for the same HARQ process or may activate the timer after the first feedback TxOP and may refrain from activating the timer after subsequent feedback TxOPs for the HARQ process.
