The sender computing device receives an acknowledgement from the receiver computing device for each fragment received by the receiver computing device. If no acknowledgements for any fragments are received within a predetermined time period, it may be determined that an error occurred, in which case the sender may time out or take another action. The sender computing device further sends a message to the receiver computing device, wherein a payload of the message includes one or more references corresponding to the plurality of fragments sent.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a transmitting device may be configured to transmit a transport block in a set of transmission time intervals (TTIs) of a repetition window to improve the chances that the transport block is received by a receiving device. In some cases, however, the transport block may not be available to be transmitted in the repetition window until after a first TTI of the repetition window. In such cases, a transmitting device may use the techniques described herein to identify appropriate configurations for transmitting the transport block in the repetition window. For example, the transmitting device may identify an adjusted redundancy version sequence to use for transmitting the transport block in the repetition window or the transmitting device may adjust a repetition window based on a TTI in which the transport block is available to be transmitted.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RETRANSMISSION

Aspects of the disclosure provide an apparatus for wireless communication. The apparatus includes a transceiver and a processing circuit. The transceiver is configured to transmit and receive wireless signals. The processing circuit is configured to detect an error of a previous scheduled transmission of data units from the apparatus to another apparatus. The other apparatus provides scheduled resources for transmission between the two apparatuses. Further, the processing circuit is configured to determine resources that are scheduled by the other apparatus for the apparatus to perform retransmission, and provide one or more of the data units in the previous scheduled transmission to the transceiver for retransmission using the scheduled resources.
