Power Saving Method for Monitoring Data Channel
A power saving method for monitoring data channel is proposed. The network node may indicate that the UE can enter a power saving mode by transmitting a DCI to the UE. The DCI may indicate a power saving duration and an additional monitoring duration. The power saving duration may indicate the length of the power saving mode and the starting point and the end point of the power saving mode. The additional monitoring duration may indicate that the UE needs to perform monitoring for a period of time before the power saving mode based on the first power saving duration indicated in the DCI.
Terminal device, base station device, integrated circuit, and radio communication method
A terminal apparatus sets a first UL-DL configuration, receives information indicating a second UL-DL configuration via a physical downlink control channel, and monitors a physical downlink control channel with a C-RNTI, during an active time based on a first subframe which is set as a downlink subframe or a subframe including a downlink pilot time slot (DwPTS) on the basis of the first UL-DL configuration, in a second subframe which is set as a downlink subframe or a subframe including a DwPTS on the basis of the second UL-DL configuration.
Wireless communication method and device
A terminal device flexibly configures a time length of a first timer (a downlink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time timer or an uplink HARQ round trip time timer) based on different application scenarios. A wireless communication method includes: obtaining feature information of a first air interface format and/or feature information of first transmission data; and determining a time length of a first timer based on the feature information of the first air interface format and/or the feature information of the first transmission data, where the first timer is used to indicate that monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is not required within the time length of the first timer.
Device and Method of Handling a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Process in a Licensed Assisted Access Secondary Cell
A communication device for handling a HARQ process in a LAA SCell comprises a storage unit and a processing circuit configured to execute instructions stored in the storage unit. The instructions comprise receiving at least one UL grant from a network in a DL subframe, wherein a UL grant of the at least one UL grant schedules at least one PUSCH transmission associated with a UL HARQ process in at least one UL subframe, and a first timer and a second timer are associated with the UL HARQ process; starting the first timer in a first UL subframe of the at least one UL subframe, if the communication device is not able to perform a PUSCH transmission of the at least one PUSCH transmission in the first UL subframe; starting the second timer, when the first timer expires; and monitoring a PDCCH, when the second timer is running.
USER EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR SMALL DATA TRANSMISSION
A user equipment (UE) and a method for small data transmission (SDT) are provided. The method includes receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message from a Base Station (BS), the RRC release message indicating an SDT configuration including a Configured Grant (CG) configuration and a timer; initiating a transmission on an Uplink (UL) resource while the UE is in an RRC_INACTIVE state, the UL resource being either configured by the CG configuration or scheduled by a UL grant from the BS; starting or restarting the timer after initiating the transmission; and monitoring a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) addressed to a specific Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) on a specific search space while the timer is running.
Method and apparatus of configuring downlink timing and transmitting random access response in mobile communication system using carrier aggregation
A method of configuring downlink timings and transmitting a random access response message is provided for a random access procedure in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system supporting carrier aggregation. The method for adjusting timing of a terminal in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation of at least one carrier includes transmitting a Random Access Preamble to a base station, and receiving a Random Access Response with a Timing Advance Command (TAC) for commanding uplink timing adjustment from the base station, wherein the Random Access Response comprises information indicating a Timing Advance Group (TAG) to which the TAC is applied.
Methods for autonomous uplink transmissions and retransmissions
There is provided a method, in a wireless device, for communicating with a network node using autonomous Uplink (UL) access. The method comprises: after sending a data transmission to a network node, starting a retransmission window associated with a feedback process of the data transmission, the retransmission window including a first timer; and in response to detecting an absence of a feedback signal during a time period given by the first timer, retransmitting the data after expiry of the first timer.
METHODS, APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR ENHANCED UPLINK DATA TRANSMISSION ON CONFIGURED GRANTS
Methods, apparatus and systems are disclosed. In one representative method, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive information associated with one or more configured grants (CGs), may select a first CG corresponding to a first CG configuration, and may transmit, on a CG occasion associated with the first CG, a transport block (TB) using resources associated with the first CG. The WTRU may also start a CG timer for the first CG responsive to a transmission of the TB, and receive a HARQ Acknowledgement (ACK) indication indicating a HARQ-ACK feedback value and associated with a HARQ Process ID (PID) in Downlink Feedback Information (DFI) of Downlink Control Information (DCI). In this representative method, after reception of the HARQ ACK indication and on condition that a HARQ-ACK feedback value is equal to ACK, the WTRU may stop the CG timer and may flush a HARQ buffer associated with the HARQ PID.
Method and apparatus for retransmission
Aspects of the disclosure provide an apparatus for wireless communication. The apparatus includes a transceiver and a processing circuit. The transceiver is configured to transmit and receive wireless signals. The processing circuit is configured to detect an error of a previous scheduled transmission of data units from the apparatus to another apparatus. The other apparatus provides scheduled resources for transmission between the two apparatuses. Further, the processing circuit is configured to determine resources that are scheduled by the other apparatus for the apparatus to perform retransmission, and provide one or more of the data units in the previous scheduled transmission to the transceiver for retransmission using the scheduled resources.
SIDELINK DTX METHOD AND APPARATUS, SIDELINK DRX METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND TERMINAL DEVICE
