Proposed is an RF electrode cartridge for skin beauty care treatment and a handpiece for skin beauty care treatment provided with the same. While being freely tilted for all ranges of 360 angle degrees around a ball joint part 140 within a radius thereof, the RF electrode body 120 moves in a state of being brought into close contact with the skin during the procedure, thereby preventing an accident that may occur while the RF electrode body 120 is spaced apart from the skin and in which damage to the skin tissue or burns to the skin may be caused. Accordingly, the present disclosure may greatly improve safety during a procedure.

Surgical forceps including reposable end effector assemblies

A surgical forceps includes a housing having a movable handle coupled thereto and movable between an initial position and a compressed position. A drive bar is operably coupled to the movable handle such that movement of the movable handle between the initial and compressed positions effects longitudinal translation of the drive bar. The drive bar further includes a coupling member disposed at a distal end thereof. An end effector assembly includes first and second jaw members movable between spaced-apart and approximated positions. Each jaw member defines a cam slot. A cam pin is slidably disposed within the cam slot of each of the jaw members. The coupling member is configured to releasably engage the cam pin such that movement of the movable handle between the initial position and the compressed position effects movement of the jaw members between the spaced-apart position and the approximated position.

Articulating tip for bipolar pencil

An electrode assembly for an electrosurgical pencil includes an insulative housing. A locking plate is supported at a distal end of the insulative housing about a pivot, the locking plate including a series of locking holes defined therein. A tip assembly is coupled to a distal end of the locking plate and is configured to treat tissue. A connection is coupled to a proximal end of the insulative housing and is electrically coupled to the tip assembly. One or more locking fingers is operably disposed within the housing and is movable between a first position allowing rotation of the locking plate and the tip assembly about the pivot and a second position preventing rotation of the locking plate and the tip assembly. The finger(s) is configured to engage a corresponding one of the series of locking holes to prevent rotation of the locking plate and the tip assembly.

ELECTROSURGICAL DEVICE FOR CUTTING TISSUE

A tool assembly for use with an electrosurgical device for cutting tissue includes a base portion, a return lead, an electrical insulator, a center pin, and an active lead. The center pin extends from the base portion and through a lumen of the electrical insulator. The active lead is securely fixed to the base portion and extends between the base portion and a distal portion of the center pin such that a portion of the active lead extends around the distal portion of the center pin and first and second segments of the active lead are spaced apart from the return lead. Upon activation, electrosurgical energy is transmitted from the active lead through tissue to the return lead to cut tissue in contact with the active lead.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EXCLUDING THE LEFT ATRIAL APPENDAGE

Devices and methods are described for occluding the left atrial appendage (LAA). The device excludes the LAA from blood flow to prevent blood from clotting within the LAA and subsequently embolizing, particularly in patients with atrial fibrillation. The implantable device is delivered via transcatheter delivery into the LAA and secured within the LAA. The implant comprises an expandable and compliant frame and an expandable and conformable tubular foam body. The device may have a thromboresistant cover at a proximal end. The frame may have recapture struts inclining radially outwardly from a central hub. The frame may have axially extending side wall struts, with adjacent pairs of side wall struts joined at one or more apexes. Anchors extend from the frame and into the foam to engage tissue.

A body orifice remodeling device includes a cylindrical handpiece having a defined length which is adapted to be inserted into the body orifice and an elongated monopolar electrode mounted outside on the circumference of the cylindrical handpiece and extending substantially along the length of the handpiece. A source of radio frequency (RF) energy in the handpiece is configured to generate RF energy to the elongated monopolar electrode; and a source of electromagnetic stimulation energy (EMagS) in the handpiece is configured to generate (EMagS) energy.

SURGICAL FORCEPS INCLUDING REPOSABLE END EFFECTOR ASSEMBLIES

A surgical forceps including a housing having a movable handle coupled thereto and movable between an initial position and a compressed position is disclosed.
