In this application, a method for a terminal cancelling interference from a neighboring cell is disclosed. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: receiving one or more interference cancellation assistance information indicating one of a plurality of parameter combinations for detecting an interference signal from the neighboring cell; detecting an interference signal from the neighboring cell, based on the one or more interference cancellation assistance information and cancelling the interference signal in signals received from a serving cell, wherein the interference signal is a downlink data channel of the neighboring cell or a downlink control channel of the neighboring cell, and the plurality of parameter combinations is configured through a higher layer.

The base station includes a data processor configured to calculate a signature waveform for the first terminal device based on the channel response, and determine the signal sent from the first terminal device during the uplink transmission period based on the combined signals and the signature waveform for the first terminal device.

Briefly, in accordance with one or more embodiments, a fixed device performs a cell search to search for one or more cells on a network and determines a transmit power level to communicate with one of the cells of the network. The fixed device sets a frequency of updating the transmit power level for communication with a cell on the network, wherein the frequency of updating the transmit power level is reduced for the fixed device with respect to a mobile device.

A method of interference cancellation is proposed. A serving base station transmits a first configuration information to a UE, the first configuration information is related to a desired signal of a data transmission from a serving cell to the UE. The serving base station determines a second configuration information related to an interference signal of a data transmission from a neighboring cell to the UE. The second configuration information comprises a resource allocation type and a basic resource allocation unit of the interference signal. The serving base station transmits the second configuration information to the UE such that the UE can cancel the data transmission from the neighboring cell.

A method for adaptively-tuned digital self-interference cancellation comprises receiving a digital transmit signal; receiving a transform configuration; generating a set of signal components from the digital transmit signal; transforming the set of signal components into a digital self-interference cancellation signal according to the transform configuration; combining the digital self-interference cancellation signal with a receive signal to form a digital residue signal; detecting a trigger; in response to detecting the trigger: computing a ratio of the digital residue signal to the digital transmit signal; converting the ratio to the frequency-domain to form a frequency-domain-converted ratio; computing a frequency-domain self-interference channel between the transmitter and the receiver based on the frequency-domain-converted ratio; computing an inverse discrete Fourier transform matrix based on a portion of the discrete Fourier transform matrix; converting the frequency-domain self-interference channel to form a time-domain self-interference channel; and updating the transform configuration based on the time-domain self-interference channel.
Leakage cancellation circuits
Technologies for RFID positioning and tracking apparatus and methods are disclosed herein. The apparatus and methods disclose a radio-frequency identification positioning system that includes a radio-frequency identification reader and a phased-array antenna coupled to the radio-frequency identification reader. Techniques are applied to reduce in-reader and in-antenna signal leakages. Techniques are applied to position and track RFID tags. Circuits with leakage cancellation abilities are also disclosed. Reflective vector attenuators with tunable impedance load are also disclosed. Polarization adjustable antennas with matching circuits used in the RFID positioning system are also disclosed. Circuits to re-transmit a received signal at a higher amplitude to enhance radio link range are also disclosed. Techniques are applied to increase the level of scattered radio signals from RFID tags.

Method for Cancelling a Data Transmission of a Neighboring Cell
A method of interference cancellation is proposed. A UE obtains configuration information of a data transmission from a neighboring cell via an interference channel in a mobile communication network. The UE receives radio signals on a set of data resource elements as determined based on the obtained configuration information. The UE then estimates the interference channel corresponding to the data transmission from the neighboring cell based on the received radio signals on the set of data resource elements. Finally, the UE cancels the data transmission from the neighboring cell based on the estimated interference channel.
