The present invention relates to a method for assigning transmission resources (101) to communications between an access node (11) and a plurality of subscriber devices (41 to 46) coupled to a shared transmission medium.

In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, the method comprises characterizing interference between respective ones of the plurality of subscriber devices over the shared transmission medium, grouping highly-interfering subscriber devices into respective interfering groups (G1, G2, G3, G4) based on the so-characterized interference, and assigning disjoint transmission time intervals to upstream communication from any one subscriber device of any one interfering group and to downstream communication towards any other subscriber device of the same interfering group.

The present invention also relates to a resource controller.

Methods and apparatuses disclosed herein enable the use of Demodulation Reference Signal, DMRS, sequences that are numbered relative to an overall system bandwidth, while simultaneously enabling wireless communication devices to determine the DRMS sequence elements mapped to their scheduled bandwidths within the system bandwidth. Advantageously, the wireless communication devices need not know the system bandwidth, or even be aware of where their scheduled bandwidths reside within the system bandwidth.

Data communication method, device, and system

Various embodiments provide a data communication method. Under the method, a transmit end maps each code block group CBG in N CBGs to each layer in a corresponding layer group based on a correspondence between the N CBGs and N layer groups. Each layer group includes at least one layer, and N is a positive integer. The transmit end then sends data to a receive end. T transport block corresponding to the data includes the N CBGs. In this way, a mapping relationship between a CBG and a layer group is established by grouping layers, so as to improve data reception quality, through interference cancellation, for transmission among different layer groups, and ensure adaptivity to a CBG-based retransmission feedback, thereby optimizing transmission performance of an entire communications system.

RADIO TRANSMISSION APPARATUS AND METHODS

A radio transmission apparatus determines information indicative of an estimated communications channel condition and generates a single modulation signal or a plurality of modulation signals based on the estimated communications channel condition information. The single modulation signal is transmitted from a first antenna of a plurality of antenna or the plurality of modulation signals are transmitted from the first antenna and at least a second antenna of the plurality of antenna. The plurality of modulation signals include different information from each other and are transmitted over an identical frequency band and at an identical temporal point. The single modulation signal and the plurality of modulation signals contain parameter information indicating a number of modulation signals transmitted at the same time.

Artificial-Intelligence Error Mitigation in 5G/6G Messaging

Artificial intelligence procedures are disclosed for localizing faults in corrupted messages in 5G and 6G, and for correcting those faults based on measured parameters such as backgrounds and message signals according to pulse-amplitude modulation. An AI model with multiple adjustable variables may be “trained” using a large number of message events, including faulted messages, to determine which message elements are likely faulted, based on input parameters such as modulation quality, SNR, and other signal properties. The receiving entity can then attempt a grid search to correct the faulted message elements, or request a retransmission. For field use by base stations and user devices, an algorithm may be developed based on the AI model, and configured to predict which message elements are likely faulted. By detecting and correcting message faults, networks may increase reliability and reduce latency while avoiding most retransmission costs and delays, according to some embodiments.
