DATA-INTEROPERABILITY-ORIENTED TRUSTED PROCESSING METHOD AND SYSTEM
A data-interoperability-oriented trusted processing method and system applied to a P2P network system are provided. The P2P network system includes a plurality of nodes. The trusted processing method includes a storage method and a query method. Firstly, a directed acyclic graph ledger structure is employed to be matched with an nRW consensus mechanism during a storage process, so that a supervision problem in a large-scale sharing exchange process is solved. Secondly, in a query process, a P2P network system is optimized by maintaining a tree structure with high fault tolerance and load balance through a hop optimization method to construct the P2P network system with a relatively balanced network, so that a query delay is not greatly influenced on the premise of ensuring the load balance, and an expandability of the system is ensured.
Apparatus and method for flexible access control and resource control in a decentralized system
A mechanism for managing a decentralized application functioning within an application shard in a decentralized network includes an access control mechanism and a resource control mechanism. The access control mechanism includes access logic that determines if a request to submit a transaction for execution by the decentralized application is valid. The request is received from an originator through the decentralized application. The resource control mechanism is called when a request is determined by the access control mechanism to be a valid request. The resource control mechanism includes resource logic that determines if a criterion is satisfied. The criterion may include one or more of a first criterion associated with the originator and a second criterion associated with the application shard. The resource control mechanism further includes forwarding logic that initiates a forwarding of the validated request to the application shard if the criterion is satisfied.
System and method for dynamic online backup optimization
Methods of optimizing transmission of data from a client to a remote data center are disclosed, as well as systems and computer program products related to the same. An exemplary method comprises: receiving data, at a first intervening data center, transmitted from a client and addressed to a terminal data center, wherein the first intervening data center and the terminal data center are selected from a plurality of connected data centers; and transferring the data, from the first intervening data center through one or more additional intervening data centers selected from the plurality of connected data centers, until the data reaches the terminal data center; wherein each data center in the plurality of data centers independently selects a connected data center to transfer the data to based upon the amount of latency and/or bandwidth available at the connected data center.

Contention management in communication networks
In some embodiments, a peer matching service classifies client devices into a bucket where similar network identification information is received from the client devices and is associated with an access point to which the client devices are connected to transfer content via a peer to peer transfer. The service determines whether to transition the bucket from a first operating mode into a contention management mode based on a status of client devices in the bucket. The status is based on a connection type for the client devices. When the bucket is transitioned into the contention management mode, the service applies instructions associated with the contention management mode to characteristics associated with the client devices to determine a restriction for peer to peer transfer of the content and communicates with the client devices to apply the restriction to the peer to peer transfer of the content through the access point.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LEADER ELECTION FOR DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS
The embodiment herein provides a system and method for providing a novel leader election mechanism in distributed systems that is randomized in twin dimensions of space and time using the concept of a colliding random walk (CRW). Leader election is randomized in space in terms of the node identified as the leader and the time taken to identify the leader. A source node is enabled to generate left and right coupons in a quantum resistant manner for random walks. A novel fault tolerance mechanism is provided to identify several leaders for same set of coupons. In this system and method, the source vertex generates multiple CRWs for each piece of work that needs to be done. The fault tolerance mechanism reduces the time to collision, increases the number of leaders and also offers increased resilience and tolerance to faults.
INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD
An information processing terminal on which a web browser operates includes a setting unit configured to set a limitation condition for limiting transmission of local storage data to a web server providing a web application, and a determination unit configured to determine a value indicating a status of network connection of the information processing terminal in accordance with the set limitation condition when the status of the network connection of the information processing terminal is online. Even when the status of the network connection of the information processing terminal is online, the transmission of the local storage data to the web server from the web application is limited in accordance with the determined value.
