SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC ONLINE BACKUP OPTIMIZATION
Methods of optimizing transmission of data from a client to a remote data center are disclosed, as well as systems and computer program products related to the same. An exemplary method comprises: receiving data, at a first intervening data center, transmitted from a client and addressed to a terminal data center, wherein the first intervening data center and the terminal data center are selected from a plurality of connected data centers; and transferring the data, from the first intervening data center through one or more additional intervening data centers selected from the plurality of connected data centers, until the data reaches the terminal data center; wherein each data center in the plurality of data centers independently selects a connected data center to transfer the data to based upon the amount of latency and/or bandwidth available at the connected data center.
ADAPTIVE SCHEDULER FOR COLLABORATION NETWORKING
Systems and methods for an adaptive scheduler for collaboration networking are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, a first Information Handling System (IHS) may include: a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor, wherein the memory comprises program instructions store thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the first IHS to: establish a peer-to-peer (P2P) connection with a second IHS; and adapt a scan rate and an advertisement rate of the first IHS based, at least in part, on context of the P2P connection. If the first IHS is configured as a host for the P2P connection, then it can adapt an advertisement rate of the first IHS, and stop any scans by the first IHS. If the first IHS is configured as a client for the P2P connection, it can adapt a scan rate of the first IHS, and stop any advertisements by the first IHS.

Probabilistic relay for efficient propagation in a blockchain network
A computer-implemented method for a node of a blockchain network comprising receiving or generating data for distribution in the blockchain network, said node having a plurality of interfaces, said data corresponding to an object such as a transaction or a block. The transaction can be a Bitcoin transaction for recordal in a blockchain. The method determines a correlation matrix having correlation coefficients representing the correlation between data processed at each interface of said node. From the correlation matrix a correlation index for each interface is determined. A threshold or indicator is calculated and data or objects such as Bitcoin transactions are relayed from nodes via interfaces according to a set of correlation coefficients of interface receiving the data. An indicator or threshold can derived from the correlation matrix and data is relayed if the correlation between the receiving interface and the other interface is lower than the indicator.
Orchestrated peer-to-peer server provisioning
Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to server provisioning in a heterogeneous computing environment and provide a method, system and computer program product for secure and verified distributed orchestration and provisioning. In one embodiment of the invention, a server provisioning method can be provided. The server provisioning method can include establishing grouping criteria, grouping different target computing nodes into different groups of target computing nodes according to the established grouping criteria, server provisioning a root node in each of the different groups of target computing nodes, and relying upon the root node in each of the different groups to peer-to-peer server provision remaining nodes in each of the different groups.
TECHNIQUES FOR SCALING AND MANAGING DATABASE QUERY PROCESSING
A system and method for scaling management. A method includes determining at least one change in a number of virtualized nodes to be implemented based on service data related to servicing of requests by the virtualized nodes; adjusting capacities of at least one of the virtualized nodes based on the service data; and implementing the at least one change by modifying the number of virtualized nodes.
STORAGE SYSTEM
A storage system includes a controller, in which the controller includes a front-end interface that communicates with a host via a network and management information, the management information includes information indicating communication performance of the front-end interface with the host, and a communication control parameter in a session between the host and the front-end interface is determined based on the communication performance.
