An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention can comprise: a foldable housing, which comprises a hinge structure, a first housing structure connected to the hinge structure and including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction that is opposite to the first direction, and a first side member that encompasses at least a portion of the space between the first and second surfaces and includes at least one first conductive part, and a second housing structure connected to the hinge structure, including a third surface facing a third direction, a fourth surface facing a fourth direction that is opposite to the third direction, and a second side member that encompasses at least a portion of the space between the third and fourth surfaces and includes at least one second conductive part, and which comes into contact with the first housing structure with the hinge structure as the center thereof, wherein the first surface faces the third surface in a folded state and the third direction is the same as the first direction in an unfolded state; a flexible display extending from the first surface to the third surface; a first communication processor arranged inside the first housing structure; a first wireless communication circuit arranged inside the first housing structure, electrically connected to the first conductive part and the first communication processor, and configured to transmit and/or receive a first signal having a first frequency; and a second wireless communication circuit arranged inside the second housing structure, electrically connected to the second conductive part and the first communication processor, and configured to transmit and/or receive a second signal having a second frequency. A hinge module according to one embodiment includes a fixed structure including a central portion, a guide portion having an edge facing an edge of the central portion, and a support portion configured to connect the central portion and the guide portion, wherein an interior space is formed between the central portion and the guide portion, a connecting shaft extending into the interior space through the central portion and including a gear formed on at least a part of an outer circumferential surface of the connecting shaft, and a rotary structure disposed in the interior space, the rotary structure including a circular arc shaped gear having a plurality of gear teeth arranged in a circular arc shape and that are engaged with the gear, wherein the rotary structure rotates about a virtual axis of rotation passing through a center of a circular arc of the circular arc shaped gear.
Infolding-type hinge structure having flexible display panel installed thereon
An in-folding type hinge structure having a flexible display panel installed thereon for a mobile communication terminal is provided. In the in-folding type hinge structure, a flexible display panel is provided in two panel portions which are foldably connected to each other, in which folding units can perform a stable folding operation while the two panel portions are being folded or unfolded and the two panel portions are supported such that the panel portions do not rotate over 180 degrees when the two panel portions are fully unfolded, whereby damage of the flexible display panel provided on the surfaces of the two panel portions can be prevented.

Hinge mechanism
A hinge mechanism being used for a foldable electronic device is provided. The foldable electronic device comprises a first panel body and a second panel body, which are pivotable with respect to each other The hinge mechanism comprises a central plate, a first pivoting element and a second pivoting element. The central plate comprises a first curved section and a second curved section. The first pivoting element is fixed to the first panel body and grips the first curved section. The second pivoting element is fixed to the second panel body and grips the second curved section. When the first pivoting element and the second pivoting element switch between a retracted position and a stretched position, the first panel body and the second panel body change between an unfolded status and a folded status correspondingly.
