Hinge, hinge assembly and foldable electronic device
A hinge includes: a trajectory limiting mechanism, including a first slider and a second slider; a first hinge bracket, for cooperating with the first slider and the second slider, the first hinge bracket being configured to limit rotation trajectories of the first slider and the second slider; a synchronization mechanism, cooperating with the trajectory limiting mechanism, for driving the first slider and the second slider into rotation relative to the first hinge bracket in a preset direction respectively; and a locking mechanism, cooperating with the synchronization mechanism, the locking mechanism having a locked state in which the locking mechanism is configured to prevent movement of the synchronization mechanism to maintain a relative positional relationship between the first slider and the second slider.
Mobile terminal and hinge mechanism
A hinge mechanism includes at least two shafts arranged in a row, a linkage mechanism and two connecting parts. The two connecting parts are fixedly connected to two shafts on the outermost sides, respectively. Two adjacent shafts are connected by the linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism includes a first linkage and a second linkage. One of the two adjacent shafts is hinged to a first end of the first linkage, the other one is hinged to a first end of the second linkage, and a second end of the first linkage is hinged to a second end of the second linkage. When hinge points where the first linkage and the second linkage are respectively hinged to the two adjacent shafts and a hinge point between the first linkage and the second linkage are in a same straight line, there is a gap between the two adjacent shafts.
Display device
A display device includes: a display module having a first non-foldable area, a foldable area, and a second non-foldable area, which are arranged in a first direction in a unfolded state; and a first support layer disposed under the display module and having a lattice pattern including a plurality of first holes overlapping the foldable area, wherein the first holes are arranged in the first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction, and wherein: each of the first holes has a first width in the second direction and a second width in the first direction, the first width is in a range from about 2,000 μm to about 9,000 μm, and the second width is in a range from about 100 μm to about 250 μm.
Methods and Electronic Devices Enabling a Dual Content Presentation Mode of Operation
A method in an electronic device comprises detecting, with one or more sensors, a geometry or geometric form factor defined by an amount a first device housing or first device housing portion of the electronic device is pivoted about a hinge or deformable portion relative to a second device housing or second device housing portion of the electronic device, as well as also detecting, with one or more other sensors, multiple persons within an environment of the electronic device. One or more processors then enable, in response to detecting the geometric form factor and the multiple persons within the environment, a dual content presentation mode of operation allowing presentation of first content on a first display of the electronic device and second content on a second display where the first content and the second content are different.
HINGE STRUCTURE FOR FOLDABLE DISPLAY TERMINAL
A hinge structure for a foldable display terminal is provided. The hinge structure for a foldable display terminal having a flexible display panel installed therein is foldable inward and outward in a fully unfolded state such that the flexible display panel is disposed inside and outside and a screen on which an image such as a moving image is displayed is invisibly disposed inside or visibly disposed outside in a state in which the foldable display terminal is folded.
FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY PROTECTION STRUCTURE
An electronic device is provided, which includes a first housing; a second housing; a hinge structure connecting the first housing and the second housing in a foldable manner; a flexible display including a first region corresponding to the first housing, a second region corresponding to the second housing, and a folding region corresponding to the hinge structure; a first protection cover disposed on the first housing to cover a periphery of the first region of the flexible display; a second protection cover disposed on the second housing to cover a periphery of the second region of the flexible display; and at least one protection structure.
Speaker control method and mobile terminal
This disclosure provides a speaker control method and a mobile terminal. The method is performed by the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal includes at least two speakers. The method includes obtaining a use state of the mobile terminal, and determining corresponding audio mode information based on the use state of the mobile terminal, where the audio mode information includes audio modes of the at least two speakers. The method further includes controlling each speaker to work in a corresponding audio mode in the audio mode information.
Foldable display device
A display device includes a display module, a case with a first cover, a second cover and a coupling cover, a first metal plate disposed between the display module and the case that includes a first fixed portion and a first rotatable portion, a second metal plate disposed between the display module and the case that includes a second fixed portion and a second rotatable portion, a first hinge rotatably connected to the coupling cover that includes a first fixed support portion that supports the first fixed portion and a first portion that supports the first or second rotatable portion according to rotation of the first cover, and a second binge rotatably connected to the coupling cover and including a second fixed support portion that supports the second fixed portion and a second portion that supports the first or second rotatable portion according to rotation of the second cover.
MOVEABLE DISPLAY SUPPORTS, COMPUTING DEVICES USING SAME, AND METHODS OF USE
A computing device is disclosed that includes an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display. The OLED display has a front surface and a back surface. The computing device includes a moveable display support connected to the back surface of the display. In some implementations, the moveable display support is configured to limit bending in one direction to a first bend radius and to limit bending in another direction to a second bend radius. In some implementations, the moveable display support is formed by a plurality of unit cells.
Displaying a unified desktop across connected devices
Embodiments provide for a handheld device with a unified desktop for integrating the functionality of the handheld device with a larger computer system. When connected to a peripheral display and/or a display of the larger computer system, the handheld device provides a unified desktop displayed across the screen(s) of the handheld device and the peripheral display. The unified desktop unifies the functionality provided by the larger computer system and the handheld functionality, e.g., communication applications (e.g., phone, SMS, MMS). A user can seamlessly interact with applications, e.g., open, move, close, receive notifications, on the unified desktop whether the applications are displayed on the screens of the handheld device, or the peripheral display of the larger computer system.
