MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal according to an embodiment includes a display panel having flexibility, and a support plate configured to support the display panel and to include a curved edge, at least a part of which is surrounded by the display panel. The display panel includes a base substrate, a light-emitting layer provided on the base substrate and configured to include a light-emitting element, a thin-film encapsulation layer configured to seal the light-emitting element, and a thin-film transistor (TFT) film configured to supply a signal to the light-emitting element, a polarizing film provided on the light-emitting layer, and a protective film provided on the polarizing film. The TFT film is extended from the base substrate at the curved edge to cover an edge of the base substrate.
EXPANDABLE DISPLAY MOBILE DEVICE
An expandable touch screen display device made up of a flexible display that can be reconfigured from a compact state to a plurality of expanded states. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of each of the expanded states is roughly the size of a tablet computer. An internal mechanism is provided for synching the motion of the device's expansion with the motion of the flexible display's end plate which provides a force to guide the display around the roller located at the edge of the device. The device may further include an integrated speaker and microphone, and sensors to indicate the expanded position of the display. In one embodiment, a module attached to, situated within, or otherwise associated with the device may contain all or substantially all processing and memory, along with a communications system.

A mobile terminal comprises a first frame, a second frame slidably moving in a first direction to switch a first state to a second state, a slide frame slidably moving in the first direction to correspond to sliding of the second frame, a flexible display unit including a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region arranged between the first region and the second region and bent to surround the second frame, and an edge curtain covering an end portion in a third direction which is vertical to the first direction of a portion arranged in a front direction of the third region at the second state. A rolling plate may be covered so as not to be exposed in a front direction, whereby esthetic external appearance may be provided.

A mobile terminal comprises: a frame having a changing shape or size; a flexible display unit having one side facing outwards, and comprising a fixed portion coupled to the frame and a variable portion bent in a first direction; and a support frame located on the other side of the variable portion of the flexible display unit, wherein the support frame comprises: a plurality of rigid bars extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and arranged side by side in the first direction; and a flexible portion for combining the rigid bars, wherein the support frame bends well in response to the flexural deformation of the flexible display unit and at the same time stably supports the other side of the variable portion, so that the flexible display unit may be stably deformed according to the deformation of the mobile terminal.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a first display area, a second display area, a third display area having a curved shape, and a fourth display area. The display device includes a display panel, an inner cover member, a first outer cover, and a hinge member. The display panel overlaps the first, second, third, and fourth display areas. The inner cover member covers an outer periphery of the display panel overlapping the first, second, and third display areas. The first outer cover member surrounds the inner cover member. The hinge member is disposed on a bottom surface of the display panel to overlap a boundary between the second display area and the fourth display area, and is connected to the first outer cover member. The display panel is folded and unfolded through the hinge member. The inner cover member is drawn in to and out from the first outer cover member.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel includes a first surface where images are displayed, and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the display panel being folded with a curvature, and a sliding member disposed on the second surface of the display panel and configured to slide a part of the display panel so that the curvature of the display panel is changed.
Flexible display device
The present application provides a flexible display device, including a housing, at least one winding mechanism, a flexible display screen and at least one stretching mechanism. When the flexible display screen is in a first state, the stretching mechanism pulls the winding mechanism to pull the flexible display screen out of the winding mechanism; when the flexible display screen is in a second state, the stretching mechanism pulls the winding mechanism to receive the flexible display screen into the winding mechanism. The flexible display device is smaller in size by winding the flexible display screen in the housing.
FLEXIBLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A flexible display device is disclosed. The flexible display device includes a first body, a second body, a flexible display, a first rack, a second rack, a first gear, and a second gear. The first gear and the second gear rotate in conjunction with each other. The flexible display is divided into a first region and a second region, and the second rack forms a continuous loop together with the second region of the flexible display. Accordingly, when the second body slides with respect to the first body, tension can be stably applied to the flexible display, and the flexible display is prevented from being loosened.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SLIDE-OUT DISPLAY
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an electronic device may include: a housing, a sliding plate configured to slide-out from the housing, a flexible display including a first section coupled to overlap the sliding plate, and a bendable section extending from the first section and configured to be pulled out from an inner space of the housing during the slide-out, a support sheet disposed on a rear surface of the flexible display, a first curved portion located inside the housing to correspond to the bendable section, a belt connecting the support sheet and the sliding plate to each other, and a second curved portion located inside the housing to correspond to the belt and spaced apart from the first curved portion in a slide-out direction.

The present disclosure provides a mobile terminal including a pair of bodies being folded around a hinge portion, a sensing unit for sensing a folded angle of the bodies, an obtaining unit for obtaining external information, a display for outputting visual information, and a controller connected to the sensing unit, the obtaining unit, and the display, wherein the controller controls the sensing unit to sense the continuously varying folded angle of the bodies, and controls the obtaining unit to obtain the external information corresponding to the sensed folded angle.
