An electronic device may be provided. The electronic device may include a housing including a first housing and a second housing configured to receive at least a part of the first housing and guide a sliding movement of the first housing, a display configured to unfold based on the sliding movement of the first housing, an elastic member disposed in the housing and configured to be compressed based on the sliding movement of the first housing, a sensor module disposed in the housing and configured to sense a pressure provided by the elastic member, and a processor configured to determine a sliding distance of the electronic device, based on the pressure sensed by the sensor module.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first carrier, a second carrier, a first driving member, a second driving member, and a flexible screen assembly. The first driving member and the second driving member each are disposed on the second carrier. The flexible screen assembly has a first end and a second end each connected with the first carrier. The flexible screen assembly is wrapped around the first driving member and the second driving member. When the second carrier moves relative to the first carrier, the flexible screen assembly is configured to move relative to the first driving member and the second driving member.
Electronic device including flexible display and antenna
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device which employs a flexible display and, even when a housing is changed in size or shape, can keep an antenna at the same characteristic. The electronic device may comprise: a first side surface member, on one surface of which a plurality of conductive parts and at least one first non-conductive part disposed between the plurality of conductive parts are arranged; a second side surface member movable toward the one side of the first side surface member; a flexible display, the width of the exposed portion of which can be adjusted on the basis of the movement of the second side surface member; and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of conductive parts and configured to transmit or receive an RF signal, wherein the second side surface member comprises a sliding cover surface disposed to face the one surface of the first side surface member, and the sliding cover surface has at least one second non-conductive part formed on a portion thereof facing the first non-conductive part, when the overlap between the second side surface member and the first side surface member is largest, and the sliding cover surface is formed not to face the first non-conductive part when the overlap between the second side surface member and the first side surface member is smallest or there is no overlap therebetween. Various other embodiments of the present invention may be additionally provided.

According to various embodiments disclosed herein, an electronic device may include: a first housing; a second housing coupled to the first housing and configured to slide in a first direction or a second direction opposite the first direction with respect to the first housing between a first position at which at least a portion of the second housing is accommodated in the first housing and a second position at which the second housing protrudes from the first housing; an optical module comprising optical circuitry mounted on the second housing, the optical module configured to be rotated in response to sliding of the second housing to be disposed to face a rear side of the first housing at the first position and to face a front side of the first housing at the second position; and an elastic member comprising a flexible elastic material accommodated in the second housing and configured to provide an elastic force to the optical module. The elastic member may provide the elastic force in a rotating direction of the optical module in a first operation in which the optical module rotates while moving from the first position to the second position or in a second operation in which the optical module rotates while moving from the second position to the first position.

A mobile terminal comprises: a body which comprises a first frame, and a second frame which is coupled so as to be movable in a first direction with respect to the first frame; a roller which is rotatably coupled to the second frame; a flexible display unit which has an image outputted on one surface thereof and comprises a front surface part positioned on the front surface of the body by wrapping around the roller, and a rear surface part positioned in the rear surface direction of the body; a support frame which is coupled to the other surface of the flexible display unit and comprises a flexible rack gear formed on the other surface thereof; and an auxiliary drive unit which comprises a pinion gear rotating by engaging with the flexible rack gear, wherein the auxiliary drive unit transfers force to the flexible rack gear in the direction in which the area of the rear surface part increases. The mobile terminal enables the flexible display unit to also move stably in accordance with the movement of the second frame.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR MEASURING MOVEMENT DISTANCE OF DISPLAY
Disclosed is an electronic device that may include: a housing formed to surround a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction that is the opposite direction of the first direction, and at least part of the space between the first surface and the second surface; a PCB disposed in the space of the housing; a display extending in a third direction, which is different from the first direction and the second direction, and displaying a screen; and at least one processor, wherein the PCB includes a plurality of detection units, a detection target to be detected by least one of the plurality of detection units is disposed within a specific distance in the second direction of the display, and the processor may be set to calculate movement information including at least one among the movement start position of the display, the movement end position of the display, and the movement distance of the display on the basis of at least sensing data received from the plurality of detection units.
Flexible Support Structure for a Sliding Flexible Display
A foldable support structure for a rolling display arrangement comprises a foldable sheet and a support arrangement comprising a plurality of support rods arranged to support the foldable sheet. The center axes of the support rods extend in parallel with each other and with the foldable sheet. The foldable sheet comprises a sheet material and a throughgoing slit pattern allowing the sheet material to fold around a folding axis parallel with the center axes. Each support rod is connected to the foldable sheet by means of a plurality of attachments.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH OPTICAL SENSOR
An electronic device including an optical sensor is disclosed. An electronic device may include: a first housing; a second housing connected to the first housing to be partially movable in a movement direction; a flexible display that is disposed to be supported by the first housing and the second housing, in which a size of a display area exposed to the outside changes according to a movement of the second housing with respect to the first housing, and in which a light transmitter through which light is transmitted is formed; a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed in an internal space formed by the first housing and the second housing; an optical sensor configured to sense a target located outside the flexible display; and a processor. The optical sensor may include: a light source disposed on the PCB and configured to irradiate light to the outside of the flexible display through the light transmitter; and a light receiver connected to a rear surface of the display area of the flexible display and configured to receive light reflected from the target through the light transmitter. Relative positions of the light source and the light receiver may change according to a change in the size of the display area. In addition, various example embodiments may be possible.
MOBILE TERMINAL
Disclosed herein is a mobile terminal including a first frame, a second frame, a slide frame movable with respect to the second frame in a first direction or a second direction, a flexible display including a third region bent to surround the second frame, and a rolling plate attached to a rear of the flexible display. The second frame includes a side portion at an end thereof facing in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a slide rail formed on the side portion. The rolling plate includes a plurality of support bars extending in the third direction and arranged in the first direction, and a slide hook protruding from an end of each of the support bars and movably inserted into the slide rail. The terminal may maintain the display in a flat state by preventing the display from being separated when the second frame is moved.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING FLEXIBLE DISPLAY
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing coupled to an edge of the first housing and configured to rotate about a folding axis extending in a first direction, a third housing coupled to the first housing and disposed to be slidable toward or away from the folding axis, and a flexible display including a first area disposed on the third housing and a second area extending from the first area and disposed through the first housing to the second housing. As the third housing slides, the second area may slide on the first housing or the second housing, and a portion of the second area may be selectively received in the second housing.
