Enabling management of contacts includes passively recognizing a set of contacts that are, as a group, repeatedly sent communications by a member, bringing the member's attention to the recognized set of contacts, enabling the member to name the set of contacts, and enabling the member to address future communications to the set of contacts through use of the name associated by the member with the set of contacts.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STORING TELEPHONE NUMBERS IN A PORTABLE TERMINAL
A method and apparatus for storing a telephone number in a portable terminal. The method includes the steps of providing a user with a name input request message; determining whether or not the inputted name exists in a phone book list of the portable terminal; and generating a new entry including the inputted name and its associated telephone number and adding the new entry to the phone book list when the inputted name does not exist in the phone book list.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUGGESTING CONTACTS
An example method of suggesting contacts in a communications routing system includes: routing, via a routing engine, communications events between a communications device and a plurality of further communications devices coupled to the communications routing system as VoIP calls using respective VoIP telephone numbers; storing, for a user account associated with the communications device, a contact database representing VoIP telephone numbers stored in a contact tracking application of the communications device; storing, in the contact database for the user account, a log of communications events including a record for each new telephone number; and when the record for a new telephone number satisfies a threshold condition, providing a prompt, at the communications device, to add the new telephone number to the contact tracking application.
Managing contact groups from subset of user contacts
Systems, methods, and computer-readable mediums for managing a subset of user contacts on a telecommunications device are provided. In one embodiment, a software application executed by a processor of a telecommunications device determines at least two contact groups from a subset of contacts accessible by a telecommunications device. The software application executed by the processor of the telecommunications device also generates a contact display including a representation of at least a portion of the first or second contact groups and a divider display object. The divider display object partitions the first contact group from the second contact group and is positioned adjacent to at least one contact from the first or second contact groups presented in the contact display.

METHOD FOR PRESETTING INSTANT MESSAGING ACCOUNT CONTRACTS AND PRESETTING ADDRESS BOOK ACCORDING TO MESSAGING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ROLES
A method for presetting contacts of an instant messaging account and presetting an address book according to a messaging relationship between roles is disclosed in the present invention, including: creating roles in a system, wherein during the same period, one role can only be related to a unique user, while one user is related to one or more roles; one user corresponds to one employee, and one employee corresponds to one user; establishing a relation between a user/an employee and an instant messaging account, wherein one user/employee is related to one instant messaging account, and one instant messaging account is related to one user/employee; and setting a messaging relationship between a messaging role and a messaged role according to the work content of the roles in the system. In the present invention, contacts related to the work of the employee are preset for the instant messaging account related to the employee, so that the employee can achieve quick and effective communication through the instant messaging account; an address book composed of communication information of employees related to the employee's work is preset for the employee, so that the employee can quickly find, through the address book, the communication information of the employees to be contacted.
Contact management system and contact management method
A contact management system includes a first communication terminal and a managing device. The first communication terminal stores first contacts and has a first application program installed therein. The managing device includes a storage device and a first processor. The storage device stores application information related to respective application programs installed in any of communication terminals included in a first terminal group. The first processor receives, from the first communication terminal, a first inquiry about first contact information to be provided to the first application program. The first processor acquires first application information related to the first application and second application information related to second application programs installed in respective second communication terminals included in the first terminal group. The second communication terminals correspond to the respective first contacts. The first processor extracts second contacts from the first contacts and transmits the second contacts to the first communication terminal.

Unique call alias assignment between user devices
An example operation may include one or more of initiating a share operation, via a first mobile device, to share contact information with a second mobile device, identifying, via an application server, a first mobile device telephone number assigned to the first mobile device and a first alias telephone number to assign to the first mobile device, among available alias telephone numbers stored in a database associated with the application server, identifying, via the application server, a second mobile device telephone number assigned to the second mobile device and a second alias telephone number to assign to the second mobile device, among available alias telephone numbers stored in a database associated with the application server, and assigning the first alias telephone number to the first mobile device and the second alias telephone number to the second mobile device.
