METHOD FOR MANAGING A CALL JOURNAL, DEVICE, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND SOFTWARE PRODUCT FOR THIS PURPOSE
Managing a call log of a communication device can include generation of a display list with list entries that are derived from the log entries of the call log, and provision of the display list for a user of the communication device. The order of the list entries in the display list can be determined by an evaluation of at least one criterion (e.g. current device parameters, current connection parameters, upcoming or current calendar events, a previous frequency of contact with the communication partner to whom the log entry is assigned, previous acceptances/rejections when contacted by the communication partner to whom the log entry is assigned, weather data, for example, temperature and/or precipitation at the time the display list was generated.

System and method for connecting to addresses received in spoken communications
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable media to connecting to addresses received in spoken communications. The method for connecting to addresses received in spoken communications comprises receiving at least one spoken communication containing a spoken address, extracting each address automatically from the at least one spoken communication, displaying to a user at least one extracted address, and receiving from the user a selection of at least one extracted address to initiate communication.

Automated contact updating based on content communications
Systems and methods for automated contact updating based on content communications are disclosed herein. A rule is retrieved from a rules database, the rule defining criteria for identifying contact-related data within a content item electronically communicated from a source account to a destination account. Based on the rule, the contact-related data is identified within the content item. In response to identifying the contact-related data within the content item, a contact database is automatically searched, based on the contact-related data, for a contact entry that corresponds to the source account. Based on the contact related data, a determination is made as to whether the contact entry should be updated. In response to determining that the contact entry should be updated, the contact entry is updated in the contact database based on the contact-related data.

Automated contact deletion based on content communications
Systems and methods for automated contact deletion based on content communications are disclosed herein. Based on a content item electronically communicated from a source account to a destination account, a contact deletion trigger is generated to define a criterion for deleting a contact entry that identifies the source account and is stored for the destination account in a contact database. Based on the contact deletion trigger, a determination is made as to whether the criterion for deleting the contact entry has been met. In response to determining that the criterion for deleting the contact entry has been met, the contact entry is automatically deleted from the contact database.

SIMPLIFIED USER INTERFACE FOR IDENTIFYING PEOPLE WHEN MAKING ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
A request to identify a person is received from a user. For example the user may say Find me the name of a person who sent me an email regarding Project X last week. The request is to identify the person in order to establish an electronic communication session with the identified person. The request is parsed to identify one or more filtering criteria. One or more electronic record stores are determined based on the one or more filtering criteria. For example, specific devices on a network are identified. The one or more electronic record stores are searched using the one or more filtering criteria to create a filtered list of persons. The filtered list of persons is displayed on a first communication device in a simplified user interface. The simplified user interface dramatically reduces the time and steps necessary to identify the person and establish the communication session.
