Electronic apparatus and storage medium, and operating method of electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus comprises a display module configured to perform display in a display area, a detection module configured to detect a manipulation of a manipulator to move for a predetermined distance or more within a predetermined period of time while being in contact with or in proximity to the display area and then depart from the display area, a moving speed acquiring module configured to obtain a moving speed of the manipulator in the manipulation, and a processing executing module configured to execute a first processing when the moving speed of the manipulator in the manipulation is smaller than a threshold and execute a second processing different from the first processing when the moving speed of the manipulator in the manipulation is greater than the threshold.
Electronic device and method of displaying information in response to input
A method includes displaying, in a window or field, first information associated with a first source running on a portable electronic device and detecting an input to display second information associated with a second source. After the detecting, second information associated with the second source and the first information in the window or field is displayed.
Method and apparatus for rapid access to a contact in a contact list
A method and apparatus for displaying and accessing contacts in a contact list on a display device. In some embodiments, the method includes displaying a list of contacts on the display device, wherein the list of contacts is separated into groups of contacts by contact group separators based on at least one configuration setting, generating a quick access index including a plurality of selectable index items each associated with a group of contacts, wherein the selectable index items are only generated for the groups of contacts that include at least one contact, and displaying the quick access index over at least a portion of the list of contacts.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CALLED PARTY IDENTIFIERS
A user equipment configured to receive a user input associated with a phone number is described herein. The phone number may be associated with a party the user is intending to call or message. The user equipment and an associated network may determine a personal identifier, such as an individual or entity name, associated with the phone number regardless of whether or not the phone number is included in a phone book or address book associated with the user. The user equipment may also present or display the personal identifier to the user prior to connecting the call or sending the message.

Portable electronic device for instant messaging
A portable electronic device for instant messaging is disclosed. One aspect of the invention involves a graphical user interface (GUI) on a portable electronic device with a touch screen display. The GUI has a set of messages exchanged between a user of the device and another person. The set of messages are displayed in a chronological order. In response to detecting a scrolling gesture comprising a substantially vertical movement of a user contact with the touch screen display, the display of messages are scrolled in accordance with a direction of the scrolling gesture. The detecting of the scrolling gesture is substantially independent of a horizontal position of the user contact with the touch screen display.
Information transmission device and operating method therefor
An information transmission method, which is a method in which an information transmission apparatus transmits information through a dial pad during a call in a terminal, includes: executing an application program storing all or part of the information and displaying an application interface including the all or part of the information; executing the dial pad in a state where the application interface is displayed, and simultaneously displaying the dial pad and the application interface; and transmitting the information to another party through the dial pad, based on content of the application interface.

Infusion pump touchscreen with false touch rejection
An infusion pump is configured to reject an input as a false touch. The infusion pump includes a touchscreen display configured to display infusion pump information and to receive a touchscreen input, a processor in communication with the touchscreen display, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to execute a false touch rejection process. The false touch rejection process includes receiving the touchscreen input corresponding to a contact with the touchscreen display, determining a contact parameter from the touchscreen input, determining from the contact parameter, that the touchscreen input corresponds to a false touch, and rejecting the touchscreen input.
