A computer-readable medium on a mobile computing device comprises an inter-application communication data structure to facilitate transitioning and distributing data between software applications in a shared app group for an operating system of the mobile computing device includes a scheme field of the data structure providing a scheme id associated with a target software app to transition to from a source software app, wherein the scheme id is listed on a scheme list stored with the source software app; and a payload field of the data structure providing data and/or an identification where to access data in a shared file system accessible to the software applications in the shared app group, wherein the payload field is encrypted.
Reflective video display apparatus for interactive training and demonstration and methods of using same
A smart mirror can show live or recorded streaming video of an instructor performing a workout in a package that is attractive and unobtrusive enough to hang in a living room. The smart mirror includes a mirror surface with a fully reflecting section and a partially reflecting section. A display behind the partially reflecting section shows the video when the smart mirror is on and is almost invisible when the smart mirror is off. The smart mirror also has a speaker, a microphone, and a camera to enable a user to view the video content and interact with the instructor. The smart mirror may connect to the user's smart phone, a peripheral device (e.g., a Bluetooth speaker) to augment user experience, a biometric sensor to provide biometric data to assess user performance, and/or a network router to connect the smart mirror to a content provider, an instructor, and/or other users.
BUOYANCY DEVICE FOR MOBILE PHONE
A buoyancy device for securing an object such as a mobile phone. The buoyancy device has a buoyant member having a flexible body with first and second ends and an imaginary longitudinal axis. When the ends are brought together the buoyant member forms a ring that can be engaged by a boat hook or by a user's hand. Extending outwardly beyond the first and second ends is a tether with first and second distal end portions. To secure the mobile device, a connector is provided with an anchor end to which the tether is secured. Also extending from the connector is an ear that is adapted to engage the mobile device so that an engagement force that secures the object to the ear exceeds the weight of the object.
Reduced size configuration interface
An electronic device displays at least one device initialization screen. After displaying the at least one device initialization screen, the electronic device displays an instruction screen instructing a user to pair the external device with the electronic device. The electronic device sends first data via wireless communication, displays a pattern comprising identifying information of the electronic device, and receives second data indicating that the external device and the electronic device have been paired using the first data. After receiving the second data, the electronic device provides an aural or haptic indication that the electronic device and the external device have been paired. In some examples, the electronic device is a wearable electronic device and the external device is a smartphone. Pairing the electronic device and the external device may allow the devices to exchange information and operate interactively with one another.
Smart watch-based mobile terminal camera control method and control system
Disclosed by the present invention is a smart watch-based mobile terminal camera control method and control system, the method comprising: detecting whether a mobile terminal has been connected to a smart watch when a camera of the mobile terminal is turned on; if yes, generating a camera control notification and sending the same to the smart watch; the smart watch receiving and displaying the camera control notification, and sending a camera control broadcast to the mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal controlling the camera to capture an image or record a video according to the camera control broadcast, and sending a preview of the captured image and recorded video to the smart watch.
Mobile terminal capable of executing splice mode for displaying preview image region and splice region and controlling method thereof
Disclosed are a mobile terminal and controlling method thereof. The present invention includes a sensing unit, a camera, a display unit, and a controller configured to launch a camera application, wherein the controller is further configured to execute a splice mode on the camera application, wherein the splice mode is a mode for outputting a preview image region and a splice region to the display unit by partitioning, and wherein the controller is further configured to output a preview image currently shot through the camera to the preview image region and recommend a splice image outputted to the splice region based on the outputted preview image.
Auxiliary terminal-control apparatus and method
An auxiliary terminal-control apparatus, where the apparatus includes a back plate sticker, a control key embedded into the back plate sticker, a communications module, and a control module. The control module is configured to recognize a target operation on the control key, and generate, based on the target operation, a corresponding target operation instruction, where the control key includes a roll ball and/or a key, operations on the roll ball include a roll operation and a press operation, and an operation on the key includes a press operation; and the communications module is configured to establish a communication connection to a terminal device to send the target operation instruction to the terminal device, where the target operation instruction is used to operate an application program on the terminal device or trigger a service.

Enabling Vibration Notification Based On Environmental Noise
A computing device supports both audible notifications and vibration notifications that are used to notify a user of various different events, such as an incoming voice call or text message. The computing device predicts when a user will have difficulty hearing an audible notification from the computing device due to environmental noise. In response to predicting that a user will have difficulty hearing an audible notification from the computing device due to environmental noise, the computing device enables vibration notifications (if not already enabled) on the computing device. The computing device also optionally communicates with one or more additional devices (e.g., a smartwatch or other wearable device) connected to the computing device to cause those additional devices to also enable vibration notifications. In response to subsequent events for which the user is to be notified, the computing device (and optionally additional devices connected thereto) provides a vibration notification.
