METHOD FOR MULTIFACTOR AUTHENTICATION USING BONE CONDUCTION AND AUDIO SIGNALS
Provided here are systems and method for two-way authentication of a user. In an embodiment, the method may include, in response to reception of an audio signal from a user, determining, via a smart device and/or authentication circuitry, whether a corresponding bone conduction signal is received from one of one or more separate wearable devices. The method may include, in response to determination that the corresponding bone conduction signal is received: determining, via the smart device and/or authentication circuitry, whether the audio signal and corresponding conduction signal are consistent. The method may include, in response to a determination that the audio signal and corresponding conduction signal are consistent: verifying, via the smart device, the audio signal; verifying, via the smart device, the corresponding bone conduction signal; and, in response to verification of the audio signal and the corresponding bone conduction signal, authenticating a user.

HEAD-WORN WEARABLE DEVICES FOR AUTOMATICALLY CEASING THE CAPTURE OF VIDEO DATA, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Systems and methods are provided for determining when to cease capturing video via a head-worn wearable device. The method includes capturing, via a head-worn wearable device that includes a camera, video data. The method further includes, while capturing the video data, monitoring sensor data indicating one or both of (i) a position of the head-worn wearable device and (ii) a position of a wrist-wearable device that is communicatively coupled with the head-worn device to determine when to cease capturing the video data. The method further includes, in accordance with a determination that at least some of the sensor data indicates that one or both of (i) a video-capturing precondition is not present at the head-worn wearable device and (ii) a video-viewing precondition is present at the wrist-wearable device, ceasing to capture the video data and causing the video data to be displayed on a display of the wrist-wearable device.
COORDINATED VIDEO STREAMING AND MESSAGING USING A WRIST-WEARABLE DEVICE AND A HEAD-WORN WEARABLE DEVICE, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Systems and methods are provided for coordinated video streaming and messaging using a wrist-wearable device and a head-worn wearable device. The method includes receiving an instruction to use a camera of a head-worn wearable device to capture video data. The method further includes, after receiving the instruction to use the camera of the head-worn wearable device to capture the video data, receiving, at a wrist-wearable device that is in communication with the head-worn wearable device, electronic messages from a viewer of the video stream and monitoring sensor data indicating one or both of a position of the head-worn wearable device and (ii) a position of the wrist-wearable device to determine when to display the electronic messages. The method also includes, in accordance with a determination that the sensor data indicates that a message-viewing precondition is present, displaying the electronic messages from the viewer of the video stream.
HEADSET SYSTEM FOR ESTABLISHING A CALL SESSION
There is provided a headset system for establishing a call session between a selected plurality of users. The headset system comprises a pair of headphones worn by an end-user, and providing audio features for the user, the pair of headphones shaped to substantially fit inside a helmet. The headset system also comprises a companion application running on the end-user's connected device and connected to the pair of headphones, in which the companion application is used for setting up a group consisting of a selected plurality of users; in which the end-user, via a single user input, is able to establish a call session through the connected device between the selected plurality of users without having to take the helmet off and without handling the connected device.
Glasses-Type Terminal
When an image capturing apparatus captures an image of an original screen and a finger reflected on an eye of a user, an operation determination unit determines the content of an operation performed with the finger based on image data of the captured image. An operation position identification unit generates data representing a position of the finger on the original screen based on the image data of the captured image. An input control unit recognizes a content of an input instruction corresponding to the operation performed with the finger, based on data on the content of the operation obtained by the operation determination unit, data on the position generated by the operation position identification unit, and data on the original screen stored in a storage unit, and controls the original screen to be displayed on a display apparatus according to the recognized content of the input instruction.
Interactive head-mounted display
An interactive head-mounted display includes a U-shaped headband that rests atop the crown of a user's head. At each end of the headband is an earpiece and a housing containing various electronics for operating and interacting with a designated wireless phone. Pivotally attached to an end of the headband is an arcuate, translucent shield that is suspended in front of the wearer's eyes. When wearing a connected device, a user can display on the shield any graphics generated by the phone, initiate a telephone call, transmit a text message, or initiate any other task that can be performed on the wireless phone, but without using the hands.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR COMMUNICATING IN AUGMENTED REALITY AND METHOD THEREOF
An augmented reality (AR) device supporting an AR is provided. The AR device includes a display, a communication circuit, at least one processor operatively connected to the display and the communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor. The memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to establish a connection with a user device storing a contact application and a message application, through the communication circuit, detect that the message application is executed, and display a first graphic user interface (GUI) and at least one avatar, which is disposed at a location adjacent to the first GUI and corresponds to at least one contact associated with the contact application or the message application, through the display in the AR.
Multi-functional wearable dome assembly and method of using the same
A flexible method to provide a variety of value-added coatings to a piece of jewelry or a group of jewelries is disclosed. Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Molecular Layer Deposition (MLD) technique is implemented to deposit a layer of conformal coating on intended jewelry surfaces, including both exterior and interior surfaces, to enhance a vast majority of process-driven or end of use driven properties. The coating compositions include dielectrics material, metals, organic materials or organic-inorganic hybrid materials. The method steps of forming a layer of coating are straightforward and can be tailed to different purposes.
DISPLAY SYSTEM, CONTROLLER, DISPLAY SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A method for controlling a display system including a head-mounted display device and a controller coupled to the display device is provided. A first display unit provided in the display device constituting the display system enables an outside scene to be visually recognized. The first display unit is caused to perform display in any mode of a plurality of modes in accordance with a state of the head of a user wearing the display device. At this time, one input mode of a plurality of input modes is set in accordance with a display mode of the first display unit, and input corresponding to each of the plurality of input modes is enabled in coordination with display on a second display unit provided in the controller, and input is received in the input mode.
