Method and system for communication
Provided is a computer implemented method and system for delivering text messages, emails, and messages from a messenger application to a user while the user is engaged in an activity, such as driving, exercising, or working. Typically, the emails and other messages are announced to the user and read aloud without any user input. In Drive Mode, while the user is driving, a clean interface is shown to the user, and the user can hear announcements and messages/emails aloud without looking at the screen of the phone, and use gestures to operate the phone. After a determination is made that a new text message and/or email has arrived, the user is informed aloud of the text message/email/messenger message and in most instances, and if the user takes no further action, the body and/or subject of the text message/email/messenger message is read aloud to the user. All messages can be placed in a single queue, and read to the user in order of receipt.
EMERGENCY MESSAGING FROM A LOCKED MOBILE DEVICE
The disclosed system provides a facility to enable an emergency messaging session on a locked mobile device. In response to receiving a request on a locked mobile device to initiate an emergency messaging session, the system displays an interface that may enable a user of the mobile device to select a type of emergency and/or enter a customized message to be transmitted to an emergency services provider. The displayed interface additionally may include options to automatically or manually send specified types of information to an emergency responder, such as a physical location of the mobile device or medical, personal contact, or residence information of the user of the mobile device. While an emergency messaging session is in progress, the disclosed system may continually send updated information to the selected emergency provider, such as a location of the mobile device or biometric information associated with a user of the mobile device.
Information content viewing method and terminal
An information content viewing method includes displaying, by a terminal, a first lock screen or keeps in a screen-off state, and displaying, by the terminal, a second lock screen after receiving first information, where the second lock screen displays a first control, and the first control prompts that content of the first information is hidden, receiving, by the terminal, a first operation of a user on a touchscreen, and collecting and verifying, by the terminal, fingerprint information of the user based on the first operation and displaying, by the terminal, a third lock screen after the verification on the fingerprint information succeeds, where the third lock screen displays the first control, and the first control displays the content of the first information.
Always on display method and electronic device
An always on display method and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: An electronic device obtains text content. The electronic device performs word segmentation processing on the text content to obtain a plurality of word segments. The electronic device determines at least one layout format of the text content based on a quantity of words of the text content, a quantity of the plurality of word segments, and a preset mapping relationship. The at least one layout format includes a first layout format. The electronic device detects a screen lock operation. In response to the screen lock operation, the electronic device displays the text content on an always on display interface based on the first layout format.
Method and apparatus for pushing notification, mobile terminal, and graphical user interface
According to a method for pushing a notification provided in some embodiments of the present disclosure, a to-be-notified event is obtained; a first notification condition and a second notification condition are determined; a first notification page is displayed on the display when the first notification condition is met, to display, to a user, first association information when the first notification condition is met, for example, event status information, to-be-executed behavior information, and operation association information; and a second notification page is displayed on the display when the second notification condition is met after the first notification page is displayed, to display, to the user, second association information when the second notification condition is met. A plurality of notification pages are pushed for a to-be-notified event, and each notification page is pushed when a notification condition is met as the event develops.
Portable terminal
A portable terminal device sets a security level for each application in accordance with position, and stores the level in a memory. The security level determines whether each application is displayed or made executable on a display portion in locked state and unlocked state. A controller refers to the security level and determines the application displayed on the display portion in accordance with position information acquired by a position information acquisition unit (GPS reception unit), and makes executable the application selected by the user. Thus, the portable terminal device offers user-friendliness while ensuring security strength.
Information processing device, processing method, and recording medium
A portable communication device (1) is capable of setting a sleep mode as an operation mode. An operation receiver (101) receives operations given by a user. A setter (102) sets the operation mode to the sleep mode when the operation receiver (101) receives no operation for a first time period. A displayer (103) displays an indicator on a display when the operation receiver (101) receives a first operation in the sleep mode. A launcher (104) launches, when the operation receiver (101) receives operations for specifying the indicator, an application program associated with the specified indicator.
Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for providing notifications and application information
A computer system displays a first user interface for configuring a wake user interface. The first user interface displays a first representation of a first version of the wake user interface illustrating a first plurality of editable user interface objects overlaying a first background. While displaying the first user interface, the system detects a first input. In response, when the first input meets first criteria, the system displays a second user interface for editing a first user interface object of the first plurality of editable user interface objects. The first user interface object is selected based on a location of the first input. When the first input meets second criteria, the system updates the first user interface to display a second representation of a second version of the wake user interface having a second plurality of editable user interface objects overlaying a second background.
BIOMETRICS TO LAUNCH A CAMERA APPLICATION
In example implementations, a method to launch a camera application from a mobile device is provided. The method includes receiving a biometric of a user. The orientation of the mobile device may also be detected. In response to the biometric and detecting that the mobile device is in a landscape orientation, the camera application is launched and the camera on the mobile device is activated.
